"On of our favorites!"

My family of 4 (2 kids ages 13 & 9) decided to book the Spirit to visit of Mount Vernon Cruise the day before to give our legs a break from all the walking in DC. The cruise is about 1.5 hours long each way with about a three hour visit to Mount Vernon. This trip quickly became our favorite thing we did on our week-long trip. The cruise was nice with information about passing landmarks. You can purchase snacks and drinks if you want and the boat has entertainment for the kids such as a foosball table on the open upper deck. The middle deck was nice to visit since it was air conditioned. Mount Vernon was fabulous and a must see! Definitely add this to your list of ‘must-dos’ during your DC trip!

Kaye and I spent a fabulous afternoon onboard the “Spirit of Washington.” We met a number of fellow travelers with whom we had a great time. The buffet was excellent and the drinks were excellent as well. The crew was quite courteous and professional. The view was phenomenal and we danced for over two hours. What a great time!

Excellent "Independence Day Fireworks Dinner Cruise on the Spirit of Washington DC" on 7/4/2019 celebrating with our adult daughter and boyfriend! The attendents were very friendly and the food was good on the cruise. Since President Trump has taken office Patriotism has escalated! We witnessed the Flyovers on board! Everyone was singing "God Bless America" to the music while watching the best and longest Fireworks ever displayed on Independence day!

We attended the Fourth of July Dinner Cruise with several friends and it was the best dinner cruise ever. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Whatever we asked for, the staff ensured we received it. The food and drinks were excellent and we never ran out. We visited every deck and each level seemed to be experiencing the same level of service.
