We stayed at this hotel as a group of college students on a business trip. We had difficulties checking in due to the way our school booked the rooms, but Lyle Ochoa, the front office manager, was so helpful and understanding. We truly appreciated how he worked with us to get everything sorted, and he understood that we were young students trying to figure things out on our own. You can trust that he will get things sorted for you, and the rest of the front desk staff was accommodating and kind as well. Thank you for making what could have been a very stressful experience go much smoother.

I stayed here three nights on a business trip and would do so again. I like the Hilton Garden Inns quite a bit and this was was basically on par with the others, though a few features had some minor scratches. The big plus was it's just a block from a quick Metro trip downtown and now you can just tap a credit card rather than having to buy a pass. The downside is I saw police blocking off a street for an arrest and another confrontation with police. I never felt unsafe but it wasn't what I'd want for a family vacation. Parking was also a bit pricey.

While the hotel was clean and staff friendly, one of the main attractions for us was the hot tub/pool. This was the first hotel I'd been in where the pool was warmer than the hot tub. Mentioned it to the staff and it doesn't seem anything was done about it.

My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The lack of cleanliness and hospitality was unacceptable from check-in to checkout. The restaurant offered only three types of alcohol, and the waitress spent most of our visit openly complaining about having to serve guests. When I called to order food for room delivery, I was met with resistance and told to come pick it up myself because the staff member on shift was late. Staff openly at the front desk discussing other dissatisfied guest and failing to provide exceptional customer service to the guest waiting in front of them! I had to wait on NUR to finish a call with a guest although I was already in front of him and actively talking when he answered the phone! The room itself was just as concerning, the toilet seat was loose and unstable, the headboards were visibly worn and torn, and the chair was so heavily stained that I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it. To make matters worse, we even noticed bugs in the room. For the price and reputation of this property, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, professionalism, and basic guest comfort.

The hotel experience was good. The bathroom sink faucet did spray outwards and needs repair (rm 825). However, Evori and Aisha checked us in and were excellent! Personable, knowledgeable and very helpful! Thank you.
