The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. That was the highest point of the stay: interacting with their team. A few glitches during the check-in process meant I waited an extra hour or two unnecessarily. This was not a problem for me, as I went around the corner and had lunch with some colleagues. For others, this could have presented a major schedule or planning issue. The room seemed clean and pretty standard for this brand. Another small point was the discovery of a frozen pizza baguette in the refrigerator when placing my own leftovers in the fridge. An inconsequential oversight, but something that might signal concern for some travelers. Our group hosted two events in the meeting spaces and I found the food flavorful, service capable, and atmosphere appropriate for the different times. I found the location very convenient for the Metro station, meaning a novice traveler would be able to easily and somewhat speedily navigate from airports to lodging via public transport options. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay. I did not find anything exceptional except the staff personalities.

Good clean hotel. Parking too expensive. Some tears in the headboard of bed. Check in process easy and quick. Clean lobby. Did not get an opportunity to check out the pool. Easy access to the metro station. Good location with a lot of food options.

Had to make an emergency reservation due to my daughter having to be at Children's hospital and Hermann was absolutely amazing , so helpful in connecting reservations and making check in a breeze for my family so we could focus on the important stuff like getting back and forth to the hospital!
