"Welcome to DC-Crystal City"

We stayed at the Doubletree, Crystal City-DC. The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is located right near all the sites the city has to offer. The suite room was perfect for unwinding and resting for the full days spent sightseeing. The warm cookies are always amazing!

"Last Minute Accommodations and Great Staff!"

Came down for the Marine Corps Marathon and after a 2:30am Airbnb nightmare we came over to the Doubletree. I often stay at smaller Hilton chains for work but this one in Arlington is exceptional. Bob helped us find a room last minute (literally it’s 2:30, 3:00? in the morning) and we could not have been greeted by a kinder and more helpful tone. I know we lucked out with there still being availability with such a huge event weekend but we’re grateful we did. We had to submit proof of receipts to Airbnb (don’t get me started) and Marco’s helped us the next day, also going above and beyond, with adjusting our name on the reservation, helping print an extra spreadsheet, and just overall being kind and patient. The lobby is clean and welcoming and spacious again considering it’s pretty much full capacity, it’s well maintained and quiet. A side note too that the gym equipment options are fantastic. Smith machine, chest press, leg curl, two separate cable machines. All there and great. Hoping to come down again and this place is the way to do it. Central location and close to Whole Foods and other restaurants. So enjoy and thank you Doubletree!

"Old and in need of updates."

We stayed here because of proximity to the Army 10 Miler. While it was close the accommodations the hotel was extremely outdated, in poor condition and disappointing. The lobby furniture was filthy and cobbled together. The rooms were subpar. Our phone didn’t even have numbers on it. The faucet flew off and hit my daughter in the foot. I called what I thought was the front desk-no directory or numbers on the phone, they said they’d get us a new room. We had to go to the actual desk and report it again. They had no idea? We got a new room with no compensation offered. The bathrooms are minuscule and in dire need of updating an exhaust fan would be nice and lighting that was more than 40 watts. The light fixtures in the hall were ripped and tattered. I’d look beyond this hotel in the future, pictures are deceiving online. The beds, however small, were comfy. Hopefully they update and upgrade to queen beds.
