"Awesome elsewhere"
June 2019 NEW
The musicians in this show are so talented and so fun to watch. If you grew up with, and love, Motown, you won't be disappointed in the show. The buffet is really just "ok". Nothing spectacular - my boyfriend & I were disappointed, as most of the people around us seemed to be.

Long story short - eat elsewhere, then go dig the show!

"Good call, Mom!"
April 2019
My daughter, granddaughter and I went to Gatlinburg to celebrate my granddaughter’s 16th birthday and my 76th. I was looking at sites of things to do when I saw Soul of Motown and knew immediately I wanted to go – I had loved that music when I was young. But I had never heard of the show and I think my daughter and granddaughter were going just to appease me – we were all in for a shock.

To say the performers put on a show would not do them justice. There was so much energy and great songs being sung by such great voices that they had us clapping and jumping—I was dancing in my chair. The music was all I could have hoped for and more.

Afterward the Stars took time to meet the audience and my daughter took a picture of my granddaughter with every one of them. As we were leaving and talking about how great the show was, my daughter paid me a compliment and said, “Good call, Mom!”

"Anniversary trip"
April 2019
My wife and I went to the mountains for our anniversary and have never been there. The motown show was a great treat for us. Really enjoyed the guys, who were super talented and entertaining. Then it got better with the lady singer and her great job of adding songs we really enjoyed. We like the old time soul as well as the more current ones. We should have stayed 2 more days so next time we will allow a longer stay

I chose this show due to all the great online reviews and because a website said it was the #1 show to see in Pigeon Forge. There were 4 male performers and 1 female performer for the entire show which lasted less than 2 hrs. Most of the songs were done quite well by the performers. I love the Motown sound, so found it very odd that two of the songs were NOT from that era (i.e. Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You)....come on, there are many more Motown tunes to choose from. We did not purchase the meal part and from what we observed in the row ahead of us who were eating, glad we didn't as it looked disappointing. Two days later, we saw the Smoky Mountain Opry Variety show and enjoyed every minute of it. It was a true variety show with dozens of performers who were fantastic. Also, before you buy tickets, check out the local Walmart and Kroger stores who were selling numerous show tickets at 2 for $40.00 near the exit of the store.

"Best music in town"

I can not say enough good things of this show. This is the best music show we’ve seen. The five cast members work so hard to make good music. They are phenomenal. This show does not rely on flying musicians, lazer lights or other gimmicks...just talent and good music. HINT: for the best ticket prices call the theater directly at 865–774-7777. This is a dinner show with a buffet. We just bought show tickets, so I can’t comment on the food quality. Do not go through Viacom. See this show!

If you like Motown music this show is a must! High energy song and dance all show long. Had a great time with hubby at this show would go again. We didn’t do the buffet but noticed it was self serve so you could get what you wanted and go back for more. We had front row seats. The cast truly looked like they loved what they were doing. Two areas for those that wanted to get up and dance.

This is a fantastic show. Starts off with a typical buffet. Nothing fancy. Chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, etc. The show, awesome! 4 males one female. They have the moves, the voices, they nail the songs. Must see.
