"BEWARE!! Avoid Biblical Times Theater."

This was a Horrible experience from the beginning till we could not stand it another minute. To start it was hard to find because the building still has signage for “Feasters on Teasters”. I had to call for help finding them and asked if they were located with Feasters and Teasters. The response was yes that they were the previous owners of the building. This should have been a warning. For years they have not bothered to change the signage on their building. I wish I had taken photos of the food line to show how bad it was. It felt and looked like a bad school cafeteria. It was advertised as having a choice of standard meal, a vegan meal or potato bar. Everyone got a large lukewarm overcooked potato with a ton of the worst margarine ever and four choices of overcooked shredded meat floating in sauce. The broccoli had started to turn yellow from age but was over cooked and served anyway. The pinto beans were tasteless. WORST food ever!! Looked bad and it was bad. How do you ruin a baked potato? The skin was so hard you could barely cut it and it was so hard you could not chew it. The show was supposed to be 5:30 to 7:30 with the first hour gospel music while you ate your dinner followed by a show on Daniel. At 6:15 a family concert started. Some of the family could sing and some could not and one did not. The youngest daughter sat sullenly on a stool with jeans that had huge holes in both knees and held a microphone in front of her mouth but did not open her mouth. She may have hummed. The father told the audience she had just graduated high school and was going to open a coffee shop when she got the financial backing to do so. The father sang a solo that was tortuous to listen to. As soon as they took a break at 6:50 we made our escape and left. I do not know if that meant the play was only 30 minutes or less or if the performance ran over the 7:30 estimated time. We had seen a show at the Light and Sound Theatre in Branson, MO that was AMAZING and had expected something similar. Biblical Times was a disappointment. I have seen 4th graders put on a better show.

I went to this dinner show with my adult sons. I have to say we were all amazed by this spectacular show from start to finish. The food was delicious. The music was enjoyable. The show was wonderful! We walked away with a renewed faith in our wonderful Lord. The Tabb family are clearly anointed to do this work. They are beautiful servants of God. They are His instruments spreading the Lord’s love and mercy!! May God bless the beautiful Tabb family always in all ways!!

"FYI this show is NOT the biblical medieval times"

I was sold the dream of "medieval times but make it biblical" and was excited to enjoy some unique entertainment in Pigeon Forge, however the show was not as it advertised. It ended up bringing up religious trauma from my childhood, using music and sob stories to emotionally manipulate the audience into believing in God (and in this case, into donating money to the family's coffee shop and new church venture). If you're looking for a kitschy, fun night of entertainment, look elsewhere. If you're looking to attend an emotionally intense church service while eating a baked potato, then this will suit your needs! I will echo other folks who mentioned that the front desk and women who served drinks/cleared plates were exceptionally kind and welcoming, but ultimately this felt like we paid to be asked for more money for this family's various business ventures.

"Paying to go to church"

The food was great and the desk folks very nice. BUT it was otherwise not nearly what I expected. I am here celebrating successful hear surgery and expected entertainment but instead heard one testimony after another. Needs way less talk and lots more music. It very much reminded me of a one man band. The mother and girls can truly sing and the “ Daniel was fair as an actor. If you are looking for southern gospel- you aren’t gonna get much. If you think the halogens are gonna be awesome( like I did) it was a tremendous let down for instance the lion was about 9 feet tall beside a regular sized male and the other murals looked like drawn pictures. . And- all the actors and even the scene of Jesus in the throne were white people… there were 2 African- American kids in front of me and it only took about 5 minutes to realize they were the only ones of color in house or on screen

"Some things are NOT better with butter!"

We left halfway through. We felt bamboozled by what the show promised versus what it delivered. On the plus side, the baked potato bar was what we expected and the ladies serving us in our seats were very nice. The show advertises an hour of varied gospel music from 5:30 to 6:30. In fact, the music did not start until 6:15. While the quality of music was good, the content was NOT a variety of gospel music. It was contemporary christian (we don’t know a single song) interspersed with tales of each performer’s personal woe and appeals for support for the church and coffee shop the family wants to launch. I felt that we paid a hefty price to go to heavy handed church service. It was so painful that we left before the Daniel part of the show even started. The entire experience was billed as lasting from 5:30 to 7:30 , but when we left after 7:00, the Daniel part had not even started. I would never recommend this experience and wish we had chosen a different show.
