Cheesesteak Segway Tour in Philadelphia
Enjoy a guided glide on a five-mile loop on this food-focused Philadelphia Segway tour! We stop and sample five different Philly cheesesteaks, at the best places, as you tour South Philly by Segway. Duration: 2 hours (plus 30 minutes for registration and training)

General Itinerary
After your Segway training, we start our Philly sightseeing tour off by gliding through Old City, learning about the historical center of Philadelphia and hearing stories about revolutionary times, as well as an introduction to one of Philly’s most famous inventions: The Cheesesteak. Then, we pass through Chinatown, marveling at the Friendship Gate and much more in this vibrant neighborhood. Visit the heart of Philadelphia’s Center City and discover the variety of galleries, shops, theaters, hotels, and more in this iconic neighborhood. Take a quick pass by Jefferson Hospital – one of the first hospitals in the United States – and then head south. After a quick stop at the enchanting Magic Gardens, it’s off to your first cheesesteak stop – the world-famous corner that’s home to Pat’s and Geno’s.

After our sample, we head north through the historic Italian Market and back onto South Street. Stopping again for another bite and hearing about how this area became the “alternative” section of the original city. We head back out, going north. One of the oldest neighborhoods in Philadelphia, Society Hill boasts beautiful, classic homes and after our tour through it, you stop for a final cheesesteak at one of several options along Market Street, before taking in other sights of Old City and heading back to our meeting location for the tour.

Philly Tour Hub makes safety a high priority on your adventure, and we know you’ll return with a much greater appreciation of the city by the end of your exciting Segway tour of Philly.

"Best Way to Tour Valley Forge"

We were in Philly without a car and had a last-minute idea to go visit Valley Forge. We called Philadelphia Urban Adventures and they quickly and painlessly set us up with a driver/tour guide. He kept in touch with us, and the morning of the tour he arrived at our hotel with coffee and donuts and a spacious car. A half hour later, we were walking in the steps of General George Washington and Alexander Hamilton and Friedrich von Steuben. It was great having our guide to ourselves, stopping where and when we wanted to for photos and more information, hearing stories we'd never hear anywhere else. It was an unforgettable day, and we can't wait to use this company again next time we're in Philly.

Great team excursion / holiday lunch for the IT crew. Adam shared parts of the Rocky Tour as we made our way up Frankford ave for Pizza, CheeseSteaks, Milkshakes and Pastry. The team loved it and we plan to do this every 6 months.

"Two Hour Segway Tour"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We did a 2-hour Segway tour for my husband's birthday. After a short video and very informative training session we were confident to hit the busy Streets of Philadelphia. This is our second tour of the city. We did the Big Bus tour and cannot compare at all to the Segway highly recommended. Since we were the only ones that booked that day we had a private tour just the two of us and our guide Victoria. Victoria was awesome and very knowledgeable. Being natives to Philadelphia we thought we knew all about it to history but Victoria told us some new and interesting facts about the historical sites along with some great recommendations for restaurants. Victoria was vigilant and making sure our safety came first, bending your knees for the bumps in the road, along with the traffic patterns on the busy streets. I highly recommend is Segway tour great way to see the city and learn about its history. Victoria was an excellent tour guide and even took some great pictures all of us along the way.

"Great friends and family activity"

We did two teams of 20 year olds vs parents in Old City Phila. Everyone had great time "running"(fast walk) around city to find clues, stratagize gaining most points and stopping friendly strangers to stop and take photo with us; following along the list of items we needed to do from list. We knew the city so easy to navigate, but asking people/doing fun phots takes no knowledge of area. Map or google easy to use to help. Stopped to eat after and would be cool to be able to see all photos taken at that time, but we got next day from Tour. Staff, Lee, super easy and nice to communicate with, prompt response, friendly and good sense of humor. We even had 87 year old grandmother who walked around with us for 2 hours so all good. Just need good sense of humor asking people to take photos with you-or don't and can still add up points answering questions. I think we will do again in Spring with an even more competitive group of friends and throw in some bars.
