I could write so much about this place. My husband and I go every single year, and we never get tired of it. This year, we decided to bring our 2 year old daughter. I was a little concerned about her being on my lap the whole time, but she WAS SO AMAZED she never fought me once! She loved all of the “orses” (horses) lol and really loved the food.

"Just amazing"
June 2019 NEW
When you first get there, you walk right past all the horses. So before you you even walk in the door you are already entertained. Then you get in the door and you aren’t really having to wait. The staff is fast and efficient. You walk in the next entrance and your just amazed there is so much to look at while you wait. To top that off they have a pre-show that is funny and uplifting, to keep you entertained. Then you walk into the big arena and.... just wow! Beautiful. Seats are nice and comfortable. The actual show was amazing. You can’t take your eyes off on the show. Then the food ?? amazing again. Nothing about this show was bad. The whole experience was amazing.. I will be going again.

Early show by 3 brothers playing Bluegrass songs. Then went into main room. Soup, chicken, pork, potato, roll, turnover, and drink. A full meal. Huge show. Riders on horses, pigs racing, dog races, flying birds, barrel racing, wagons, bison, and longhorns in the show. Lots of fun for all ages.

If love horses, history inspired show, go to the Stampede! Completion, audience involved show. Good meal,---- and they have even added forks this year for all those I-hate-to-eat-with -my-hands folks. Come early to look at horses and see the more show.

"Great show, so so food"

The entertainment was great! I'm pretty sure they rig it so the South always wins, so if losing will bug you make sure to get tickets on that side. The food wasn't great - chicken, pork loin, half a baked potato, corn on the cob, and cream soup and biscuit. A turnover for dessert. For some reason they only provide forks, so not spoons or knifes which made it really difficult to eat and feed kids. We got McDonald's after, it was that bad. Also, didn't realize it was dry until we got there and my husband really felt a true bar would improve the experience. My kids loved having popcorn with the pre show.

We enjoyed the pre-show. We had "preferred seating"for the show, but my husband was behind a bar/hand rail and couldn't see well at all. The food was ok. Chicken had a great flavor, but was dry. The potato was very dry. The corn was probably bought at Walmart. The best part of the meal is the soup and biscuit! The show is fun. We had been before several years ago, and just weren't as entertained as we remembered being before. The horses are beautiful to watch. Kids age 6 - 12 or so would probably really enjoy it.

"Fantastic show!"

Dolly Parton's Stampede (formerly Dixie Stampede) is a wonderful family dinner show! Our granddaughter's dance studio performs there every year for the preshow. You can see the horses that will be performing in the main show as soon as you walk onto the grounds. We have attended both the regular show and the Christmas show and both are amazing! The Christmas show includes a live nativity which gives me goosebumps! And Santa Clause! The dinner is great although it would be nice if they switched the menu once in a while! I do believe every dinner show in Branson gets their food from the same place because they all serve the same thing!! All in all it is a wonderful place to take your family for a great show and good food!!
