Thousand Hills Resort Hotel in Branson, MO

Very outdated. Carpet in the rooms were worn and outdated. Provided breakfast was the same everyday. The staff (evening) was extremely rude. Upon check in Tristan was very kind and patient. While I as checking in, a very rude lady was complaining about her room and he handled it very professionally. Housekeeping was nonexistent. I had two rooms booked. We both asked for our rooms to be cleaned after the second day. The bed was made and a bag of towels was left on the bed. Garbage was not emptied, floors were not vacuumed, soiled towels were left piled in the bathroom. I am a travel agent and looking for lodging in Branson. Pictures on the website are very deceiving. I read other reviews but I wondered if the persons writing the reviews stayed in the same hotel I did. I would NEVER book a group at this hotel. They would not provide me with a receipt since I had prepaid the accommodations.

Front desk staff are amazing! Extremely courteous, very welcoming and make checking in a breeze! Fast service, best place to stay in Branson!

Rooms are dated. Bathroom roof leaked. Only 1 microwave per floor. Someone burned popcorn right across from our room. Breakfast great people friendly.

We stay in motels/hotels in Branson several times a year. This was our first time here. The location was great. Atmosphere was really good. The room (double queen) was a bit small for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The value was very good as it came with a very good breakfast buffet.

Our recent stay at Thousand Hills Resort in Branson was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable from start to finish. While at the indoor pool with multiple families, two employees came in and spoke to us in an extremely rude and condescending manner, repeatedly telling us we had to leave without giving any explanation. One male employee singled out a young single mother and was particularly disrespectful to her. When I calmly asked for clarification, they refused to answer and continued repeating that we needed to leave. Both employees smelled strongly of marijuana, and the odor filled the entire indoor pool area as soon as they entered. This was especially alarming since the area was full of families and children. After leaving the pool, I went to the front desk to ask for management’s contact information to file a complaint and was told the hotel manager “doesn’t have an email,” which is very strange in 2025. I also asked for the name of the employee who was so rude, and he outright refused to provide it. Unfortunately, this wasn’t our only issue. When we arrived on Friday, 12/27, our room was unlocked. There was food left in the refrigerator from previous guests, and the mirrors and floors had not been cleaned. Despite us being on a tight schedule for a show, the front desk staff seemed unconcerned and unapologetic about the situation. Overall, this stay showed a serious lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and basic customer service. We will not be returning and would caution families to think twice before booking.
