The double queen rooms were very nice and clean. My son had a blast with all the activities they have on the same property. Water park and fun spot were extremely fun. Shops and food were great too. I'd definitely recommend to anyone with kids 12 and under

"Great family spot!"
January 2019
Pulled up and I was the only one at check-in!! Got our tickets and extra freebies, headed to the room which was very nice and clean! Water park went well, at times was a little cold and could be a little warmer for the kiddos. It was to cold for me, but did have a nice hot tub! No complaints there. Went to get our free pizza for dinner, fun environment and then we headed to the arcade to play! Tons of things to do!! Next day we went to the pet show, kids loved it. Went and did go-karts and laser tag, worth the money!!!! Very good trip for our “mommy and me” trip!!! My only complaint I had was while going to bed it was like having a toddler on the floor above us and running back and forth for like 2 hours. It was hard for my kiddos to go to sleep as well. But other than that it went great! Hope this helps!!

"Fantastic surprise!"
November 2018
The room was very nice. The front desk was exceptional! The indoor water park was fun. There was food on the premises so we didn't have to get back out into the traffic. The only thing I could ask for was more parking. The kids enjoyed the cake and popcorn party.

Tip: I had never considered staying here before. When we decided to go to Branson, it was hard to get a room for five people. This popped up on the search and we took it. I am glad we did. Everyone enjoyed the stay. It was worth the cost. The room looked newly renovated. Wonderful staff at all the resort.

"Expected more for the price"
October 2018
Price was kind of high for what you get.... Hotel was okay, its outdated, could have been a little cleaner. Lots of stuff to do on site, however, it all cost extra $$. Waterpark was okay, my 10 and 7 year old got bored after 45 minutes or so.

"Needs updates"
August 2018
Overall fairly clean. Outside elevator disgusting and we found a roach in our room on the last night. A safe in the room would be nice. Also, a better comforter or bedspread that actually covers the entire bed would be nice. The waterpark really geared toward young kids, not a lot for older kids to do. Kids are allowed in one of hot tubs but workers don’t ensure that they stay out of the adult only one. If you are an adult needing a break from kids, you aren’t going to get it in the hot tubs.

We bought a package for two rooms, 3 night stay at Grand Country with the indoor water park. We hadn’t stayed there for many years and thought the indoor park would be fun for the children with us. They loved it as well as the mini golf and go cart track that came with the package. An overall great three days. I would recommend this place.

Several years going to Branson, this one by far one of the best. Motel room updated, clean, comfortable, quiet and handy to all the fun, shows and food. All employees extremely courteous and professional. Buffett food well prepared and fresh, waiters kept drink glasses full.

Room: paid for two double beds and got king bed with kid’s bunk house ++ Hot water!! Never ending hot water!!! Shower head is low. If you are over 6” then the pool for each building is within walking distance. We washed bottles daily in our room. Sink was able to fit 4x 8oz bottles and all the innards (dr Browns) to wash. Also mini-fridge (no freezer) and microwave in room. Clean rooms, new towels daily! (We tipped $10 for housekeeping staff.) AC was nice and cold in this early August heat wave. Provided toiletries (which we didn’t use). Bathroom is a compact room with the sink in the main area, but it’s set off enough where you won’t wake the kids with the light. Good sized closet with ironing stuff—large enough to fit three suitcases and two bags of the top shelf. Hair dryer in a bag in closet is actually a wall mounted hair dryer that isn’t mounted. Have fun holding it. TV in kids bunk house is not connected to cable so be sure to bring DVD’s. Nice that you don’t have to worry about them watching something inappropriate but we wished they sold movies at the gift shop because we didn’t bring any. Or Walmart’s not far away. Beds were comfy. Kids bunk has see through “windows” so you can keep an eye on them. We traveled with a ten month old and enough room for the pack and play and stroller in the room. Enough storage space for this family of four’s stuff and I “overpack” according to hubby. Buffet review: by far the best the best of the three restaurants. Get seated with Wanda or Rae, they are so pleasant and make sure you have everything you need. Food was always fresh, tasty, and enough plates to go around. Omelet station was amazing. Also have ice cream at every meal. Gratuities not included. (We tipped $3-$5/meal). Pizza Place: Think CiCi’s Pizza. Not bad. Had a nice salad bar, pasta, pizza buffet. You can this to go. Friendly kids working there. Bus your own table. Ice cream hut: funnel cakes (yum!), smoothies are great, frozen custard was just what we needed in the heat. Friendly kids working there. Grill at the water park: meh. No flavor on anything but everything was hot, made to order. We had grilled chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, and chicken nuggets kids meal. The kid’s meal was the best. Seemed like we were a nuisance to them. Entertainment: Mini-Golf: we played 4/5 (all included!) and the two outdoor courses were very good. They have a red cup on most holes so if you have a younger kid or a mom that doesn’t golf like me, just go for the red one. The cup is larger and easier. Pools: we visited building 2 & 3 pools. The outdoor pool (building 3) was cleaner than indoor pool (building two). Take towels from your room or from your suitcase. 3 ft to 6 foot depths. Next to building two pool is laundry facility. Laundry costs $2.75 wash and $2.50 dry. Must take your own detergent and softener. Water park: we enjoyed the indoor water park the most. There’s a 0-depth toddler splash and slide area, which was great for momma and baby. A lazy river that was 1/4 of the hole park and lots of tubes to go around, no rental required. Also in addition to the main attraction area (think six flags water park with bucket that intermittently dumps water on people), there was basketball pool. The main area had three or four slides and a bunch of areas to explore. The grill is located on the inside water park. The outdoor is more of a splash pad, with smaller slides and water gun stations. Includes towels. Amazing Pets show (included!): family fun, cute puppies and kitties (yes cats) that do tricks! They also had birds! Perfect for younger kids and pet lovers. Pictures with a pup, souvenir toys and concessions available. Soda and popcorn included in the all inclusive package. I don’t even know how one guy trained all those animals. Was able to snag front row by booking ahead. Keep in mind if you need to leave theater you have to use read exits or the pets will be distracted. Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede (included!). Was able to snag front row since I emailed the reservation staff at the time of booking. Gratuities not included. (We tipped $30.). You will get tickets at check in from front desk staff. Silver dollar City 2 day pass (included!) Take money for food, drinks, and souvenirs. Strollers available for rental ($16-first come first serve). Arcade: typical arcade—load cash on card, play games, redeem tickets for prizes. Our seven year old loved it. We didn’t do go carts (included but we didn’t get to it!) or the other two shows. Gift shops and candy shop next to buffet. Overall the VIP/all inclusive package was so worth it. Nearly was very welcoming, friendly, and this was a great starter course to Branson. Great if you have small children—no packing them in the car to go to different venues because everything is right there. Arcade and mini-golf are not recommended for sensory processing disabled. Women and single daddies beware. Hardly any place in Branson had diaper changing tables in the men’s restrooms. #yesSeriously

"Grand Country half marathon stay"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed October 15, 2019
The five of us had two rooms booked for three nights for the Grand Country half marathon. We got a rate of $179 a night per room which included 1 free large pizza per room, 4 tickets to the water park per room, 4 tickets for a round of miniature golf per room, and 4 tickets to a Grand Country show per room. The rooms had double beds in them along with a microwave, a refridgerator, and a coffee maker. Small screen TV. The bathroom was small, and the rooms are comparable to any other mid level hotel chain. The buffet was ok and the service there was very good. There are gift shops galore and several places to eat. There were bus loads of older people visiting the resort, but to me, it is geared more toward kids. We were on the second floor with rooms next door to each other. No rowdiness or noise, and the beds were comfortable.
