June 2019
The double queen rooms were very nice and clean. My son had a blast with all the activities they have on the same property. Water park and fun spot were extremely fun. Shops and food were great too. I'd definitely recommend to anyone with kids 12 and under

"Great family spot!"
January 2019
Pulled up and I was the only one at check-in!! Got our tickets and extra freebies, headed to the room which was very nice and clean! Water park went well, at times was a little cold and could be a little warmer for the kiddos. It was to cold for me, but did have a nice hot tub! No complaints there. Went to get our free pizza for dinner, fun environment and then we headed to the arcade to play! Tons of things to do!! Next day we went to the pet show, kids loved it. Went and did go-karts and laser tag, worth the money!!!! Very good trip for our “mommy and me” trip!!! My only complaint I had was while going to bed it was like having a toddler on the floor above us and running back and forth for like 2 hours. It was hard for my kiddos to go to sleep as well. But other than that it went great! Hope this helps!!

"Fantastic surprise!"
November 2018
The room was very nice. The front desk was exceptional! The indoor water park was fun. There was food on the premises so we didn't have to get back out into the traffic. The only thing I could ask for was more parking. The kids enjoyed the cake and popcorn party.

Tip: I had never considered staying here before. When we decided to go to Branson, it was hard to get a room for five people. This popped up on the search and we took it. I am glad we did. Everyone enjoyed the stay. It was worth the cost. The room looked newly renovated. Wonderful staff at all the resort.

"Expected more for the price"
October 2018
Price was kind of high for what you get.... Hotel was okay, its outdated, could have been a little cleaner. Lots of stuff to do on site, however, it all cost extra $$. Waterpark was okay, my 10 and 7 year old got bored after 45 minutes or so.

"Needs updates"
August 2018
Overall fairly clean. Outside elevator disgusting and we found a roach in our room on the last night. A safe in the room would be nice. Also, a better comforter or bedspread that actually covers the entire bed would be nice. The waterpark really geared toward young kids, not a lot for older kids to do. Kids are allowed in one of hot tubs but workers don’t ensure that they stay out of the adult only one. If you are an adult needing a break from kids, you aren’t going to get it in the hot tubs.

The people, shows, buffett, and lodging was excellent. We've been going to Branson for over 30 years. There is no place better. The employees are friendly. The shows are the best. And their buffett is tops. We're reterning in April. Even tho our health isn't that good and it's a 7 hour drive, it's worth every penny we spend.

"Rooms and Facility is Dirty, manager is rude and not accommodating"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed January 07, 2020 NEW
The rooms are dirty, you cannot get in the bathroom without standing on the toilet or the tub so you can close the door. The indoor pool smells like sour water, the bathroom in the pool room had urine puddles. The maid did not clean the room between night lodging gave new towels emptied trash left the trash cans sitting on the table, However she were sure she took the tip that was left for her. The Hotel changed the opening time of the indoor water park and did not advise us of this when we checked in so if you checked in at 3 pm you could swim till 9 pm in the park but the park did not open the next day till 2 pm and check out is at noon. We purchased two nights to have a place for the grand kids to enjoy but since we could not use the park on the second morning one set of the grand kids did not come to visit. The only reason we went to this hotel and booked rooms was to spend time at the park. So we asked the manager if we could use our arm bands on a different day in the future she said NO the park is only available with you stay! We also was a patron of the Grand Country Buffet twice while we stayed (no food offered with the hotel package) We spent alot of money at had very little enjoyment from this triip I Suggest everyone spend your money on a different establishment it seems the management here does not care about customer service.

"Poor hotel stay, ok attractions"

The kids enjoyed their stay for the most part, but we had a few (major) problems during our stay. 1) there is a bar/nightclub across the street that goes til 1:30am and the speakers might as well be in your room right along with the noise of traffic on the main road. This was the most frustrating part of our stay, luckily I travel with ear plugs- the kids, not so much. The indoor water park was small, but fun (TONS of chlorine in the water, I’m not sure I’d want to see a water test 🤦🏻‍♀️) The kids enjoyed a couple hours here two separate days but there was hardly any seating inside so we didn’t stay all day. The chlorine smell stays in your nose for hours! The arcade and shows were definitely a hit and we were surprised by the quality of the laser tag, go karts and put put golf. Our second issue had to do with the package we booked- our confirmation clearly read we would get tickets to (2) shows of our choice. We went to an AM show and I realized we hadn’t received our vouchers for the second show. When I asked the front desk I was told there was a mistake and we only would get tickets to one show, even after showing my confirmation. I really had to push to speak with someone else, after some attitude and eye rolls from the front desk attendant and persistence on my end we got passes to a second show. As an attraction the place was fun for the family (for one weekend, any longer would have been too long) the hotel was clean but no where near quiet. One other important note is the buildings are not connected, so to go from the hotel to any attractions you will have to walk outside. Long story short, you get what you pay for 😊. Had it not been for the loud establishment across the street, we may have decided to come back but we value our sleep too much.

"Christmas season "

We went to Branson for a family trip, stayed at this hotel for the activities for the Grandchildren, it is a bit pricey for what you get and they should include breakfast. Hotel was okay, kids loved the waterpark and the video games, and other activities free pizza is so-so. Shows were pretty good, also included in the price. Just think for what you pay they should include breakfast.

"Great fun the second time around"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We visited Grand Country Resort for the second time after Christmas 2019. A few details: -The rooms are standard motel rooms. Clean. Comfortable. Not too big. -The indoor waterpark is the jewel of the resort. Why the kids want to go. -3d blacklight minigolf was a blast. -Laser tag was fun. -Arcade was fun. -We did not hit up any shows this trip. -On site food (buffet, pizza joint, snack bar at indoor water park) was reasonably priced and decent food. All in all a great time...again.
