"Great family spot!"
January 2019
Pulled up and I was the only one at check-in!! Got our tickets and extra freebies, headed to the room which was very nice and clean! Water park went well, at times was a little cold and could be a little warmer for the kiddos. It was to cold for me, but did have a nice hot tub! No complaints there. Went to get our free pizza for dinner, fun environment and then we headed to the arcade to play! Tons of things to do!! Next day we went to the pet show, kids loved it. Went and did go-karts and laser tag, worth the money!!!! Very good trip for our “mommy and me” trip!!! My only complaint I had was while going to bed it was like having a toddler on the floor above us and running back and forth for like 2 hours. It was hard for my kiddos to go to sleep as well. But other than that it went great! Hope this helps!!

"Fantastic surprise!"
November 2018
The room was very nice. The front desk was exceptional! The indoor water park was fun. There was food on the premises so we didn't have to get back out into the traffic. The only thing I could ask for was more parking. The kids enjoyed the cake and popcorn party.

Tip: I had never considered staying here before. When we decided to go to Branson, it was hard to get a room for five people. This popped up on the search and we took it. I am glad we did. Everyone enjoyed the stay. It was worth the cost. The room looked newly renovated. Wonderful staff at all the resort.

"Expected more for the price"
October 2018
Price was kind of high for what you get.... Hotel was okay, its outdated, could have been a little cleaner. Lots of stuff to do on site, however, it all cost extra $$. Waterpark was okay, my 10 and 7 year old got bored after 45 minutes or so.

The internet is very misleading a lot of little kid play area pools were outside enclosed my daughter was not allowed to go down the slide indoors when she goes down slides at our hometown part that comes out into six foot deep water when there is it's only like a foot deep very disappointed the only thing they had going for our visit was the front desk was very friendly

"Needs updates"
August 2018
Overall fairly clean. Outside elevator disgusting and we found a roach in our room on the last night. A safe in the room would be nice. Also, a better comforter or bedspread that actually covers the entire bed would be nice. The waterpark really geared toward young kids, not a lot for older kids to do. Kids are allowed in one of hot tubs but workers don’t ensure that they stay out of the adult only one. If you are an adult needing a break from kids, you aren’t going to get it in the hot tubs.

"Awesome place for the baby!"
July 2018
We stayed for the first time with my 1.5 year old. I was really hesitant on whether or not the park would be worth the money. Definitely was! That is the only thing that kept him busy in the evenings! And he slept like a rock! Too little too enjoy the other perks of staying but we will be back to test those out as well!

Kids loved it. We always get the package deal with hotel, water park, go kart, mini golf, arcade, shows and pizza. Recommended the pet show. Kids had a blast at it. Water park is for more younger kids. They did just put in two new bigger water slides so we’ll see how our 10 year old likes it when we go back in June

The buffet has a large verity of food to chose from. The salad bar and the desert bar both are very good. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They have just added fried chicken to the bar and it is very good.

"Better for families of young children "

The room was motel style, a little outdated, smelled kind of musty- maybe because most people staying use the water park facility and come back to their room and the carpet gets wet, not sure. The tv didn’t work, the lanterns had lightbulbs out, just some small things that while I’m sure we could have called to have fixed we were only there for one night so didn’t bother. For families with young kids that could capitalize on the water park I think it would be fun. The beds were clean, the AC worked well, the essentials were covered.

"Great Trip with Lots Pros, few Cons"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

We had a great time. We bought a two day package that included two shows, go karts, water park bracelets, 2 pizza, 18 hole golf, 10 dollar arcade card, and free tea or coffee at any of the restaurants. So let's start with some pros.... very clean room. We upgraded to a King with a kids cabin. Kids loved having their own space and we enjoyed them having their own tv. The maid service was thorough. They even placed the stuffed animals the girls brought on their beds as if they were sleeping. Cute touch. We even saw the maids cleaning the outside of the windows. They really took pride in the hotel's appearance. The water park was fun. Lots of life guards. They have a jacuzzi for kids at a safe temp and an adult jacuzzi at a warmer temp. The towels are provided at the water park. Papa Grands pizza tastes good. Crust was thin yet yummy. The Grand County buffet had many choices and tables were clean. We had two great waitresses. Christina helped our 8 year old get yogurt after they had already pulled it to set up for lunch. Anna took special time to help calm down our toddler when she decided breakfast was over. Eating out with young kids can be stressful... they made it easier to relax. Arcade prizes were much better quality than expected. So much to choose from and earning tickets on the right games not to hard at all. Several games allowed u to get bonus tickets without to much difficulty. The crane machines in the arcade were too loose. No surprise there. The late night party was a plus because the free cake and popcorn were good and the girls loved the glowing necklaces as party favors but you could also tell it was a way of getting parents in the arcade to spend money. Good tactic. Gift shop had some really unique items for decent prices. Cons... the Fudge and Sweet shop did not have a sales person dedicated to it. We had to find someone to check us out. We did not use our show tickets. A toddler would not set through a show. We were going to do the Amazing Pet show but it was ONLY on Sunday. We were there from Thursday through Saturday. Super disappointing that the only show we wanted to see that even a toddler would enjoy is one night a week. Go Karts requires kids of a certain height to ride with parents. Well you better be pretty small to squeeze a tall 8 year old and grown man in their two seaters. Here is the biggest Con... this one was of great frustration to us. At the Concierge Service Desk when u walk into the Grand County Music Hall there is some super friendly people. You would assume are staff to direct you.....NOPE they are wonderful, engaging sales people for a time share. They are selling time shares for a different hotel chain. By the time you realize it you have been standing there for 10 minutes and they are so good you can hardly pull away. That was very misleading. Concierge service desk my foot. All in all it was a memorable vacation and we will return again. Maybe next time we can come on a Sunday to see a show. Either way I highly recommend the resort and will be returning.
