Margaritaville Island Hotel Mixes Mountain Style with Tropical Flair

Have you always dreamed of drifting away to Margaritaville? Now you can get a taste of the island life right here in Pigeon Forge at the Margaritaville Island Hotel. The hotel’s catchphrase, “Mountain Latitude Combined with an Island Attitude” says it all. The laidback resort, located at The Island, is a contemporary place to stay in Pigeon Forge, offering exceptional service and amenities you can only find at a Jimmy Buffet-inspired resort.

With the lyrics and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffet paving the way, Margaritaville Hotel excels at creating an escape from the everyday. Comfort is key inside rooms, which are furnished with a décor distinct in its combination of mountain and coastal colors. A stacked stone fireplace is oh-so inviting, while driftwood furnishings make for an interesting accent. Luxurious bedding makes for a supreme comfort zone too. There’s more though, as the mountain-style bathroom has a walk-in rain shower, vessel sinks, and granite topped rustic wood vanities. Together, it creates a relaxing atmosphere to pamper yourself. Oh yeah, there’s also a Margaritaville Frozen Drink Maker! Let the fun begin!

You don’t have to go far from Margaritaville to find a good time. Onsite options include the Changes in Latitude Lobby Bar, perfect for an afternoon cocktail, the Chill Bar at the Rooftop Pool, and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Restaurant is adjacent to the hotel. With multiple bars, a patio overlooking the Little Pigeon River with fire pit and live entertainment stage, as well as delicious island-inspired food, it’s a hot place to unwind.

Margaritaville Pigeon Forge has currently opened phase one of the hotel with 55 guestrooms and suites. The grand opening of the 132 room resort is scheduled for January 2015, but an exact date has not been announced.
