"Pleasantly surprised"
July 2018
Typically, I’m not a tv fan. I attended the tour initially to please my niece who was my travel companion. We both ended up enjoying the tour very much. There’s lots of opportunities to learn and we both saw some familiar movie sets/props. Bring extra cash if you’re a Harry Potter fan and want to ride a broom (practice your swish and flick). I’d return because I believe each tour guide will share a unique experience of the studio.

"Very Attentive and Flexible!"
April 2018
We reserved tickets for the Warner Brothers Studio Tour through Reserve Los Angeles and the day of the tour, had a huge conflict and couldn't make it. I called Reserve Los Angeles and not only did they go the extra mile to change my tickets to another day, they also told me I was getting a better deal on the tickets and were refunding $20.00 to my credit card. Now that's service with a smile!

Tip: The tour is extremely interesting but if you're going to see celebs, it probably won't happen.

"Family time"
January 2018
We spent Christmas in L.A. where my son lives. We planned a lot of activities . The Warner tour was one of the best parts of our holiday . We really enjoyed the Ellen set . And sitting on the couch from the friends set. We went on the noon time tour on Christmas Eve . And we never felt rushed or disappointed with the tour guide . He was great .

"What Better Place Than Warner Brothers"
July 2016
My family and I visited California in June of 2016. It was our first time visiting the West Coast so we wanted to do everything possible. When I found the Warner Brothers tour I was beyond excited! And the tour sure exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide was so friendly and full of so much information about the different movies and shows that have occurred on their grounds. She showed us where shows such as The Fosters, 2 Broke Girls, and Full house were filmed and created. One of my absolute favorite parts was visiting the soundstage for the show Big Bang Theory. Words can't describe how happy I was to see where one of my favorite shows came to record.
Stage 48 was just the cherry on top. Visiting the friends stage and ACTUALLY SITTING ON THE FRIENDS SET was absolutely fantastic! They also featured some old time favorites such as ER and gave you the chance to hold an actual Grammy. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the LA area. It was the highlight of our trip. There was so much information and activities jammed into the tour that you were never bored. Hopefully next time we can visit Ellen and attend a live recording of Big Bang Theory!

"Fun & fascinating"
June 2016
Our tour guide, Jillian, was energetic and very knowledgeable. All the behind-the-scenes stops were fascinating, and we loved the Harry Potter room - would have liked more than the short time we were allowed - lost a rating star because of that!

"Ok tour, but pricey. I hoped for better."

Our tour guide was just ok but it seemed like the other tour guide stopped and let his people out more than ours. The annoying this is that they had a street cleaner truck out there that kept getting in our way and spraying us with dust. We were sad to see that the Big Bang Theory stage was already being dismantled to be moved to be put on display. We only got to see one set for Lethal Weapon and just the outside of the rest of the studios. There was a costume exhibit for Harry Potter and several Marvel movies and also a decent archive collection, but as the oldest studio in Hollywood and for the price, I just expected a bit more. We were driven through the New York street scenes and the anytown usa scenes. At the end they had stated that the friends set was moved for public access but i was only the central perk scene, not the apartment set. It would be nice to have access to both. We were hoping to see the set from Mom but it didn't happen either. She focused a lot on pretty little liars and gilmore girls which most of the tour guests didn't care about. The website said it was a three hour tour but it was more like 2 hours to 2.5.

"Great for Movie Buffs!"

Warner bro Hollywood studio tour was great! The staff and tour guides are lovely and knowledgeable. They take you all around to the movie sets and you even get to go through a movie set and they show you how the sets are made and how they work. There is also a museum they take you to that have the outfits the actors wore in Aqua-man, Wonder Woman, Harry Potter and Fantastic beast and where to find them. They also have a studio dedicated to all the bat mobiles with the exception of the 1960s one. When the tour is over they take you to the Central Perk cafe which is featured in Friends, you can have a coffee, hot chocolate and treats. You also have the opportunity to get a photo on the couch where the cast would hang out and even reenact a scene from the show. It was a really great day!

"Tour is too commercialized now. No longer a fan."

I have been on the Warner Brothers Tour 5 times over the years since 1996. Every time someone is headed to California, I talk them into taking this tour because of how much I loved it and how different it is every time. However, last month was most likely my last. The tour has now robotic and commercialized. Our guide appeared to be stuck in the past, repeating the same information and none of it current. We did not see any back lots except for jungle area. We past areas where our tour guide said nothing but I remembered facts from previous tours and shared them with our group. The tour itself is now actally only 1 hour and 50 minutes as I was told when they leave you at a building where you can buy souvenirs, coffee and take pictures sitting at central perks. The girl greeting us acted put out when I inquired about the length of the tour. In the past, I loved how personalized it was and how it varied each time. Now, it is a stop to see Harry Potter, Fantastic Beast and Current DC movie props (Aquaman and Wonder Woman) whereas in the past, we would see TV show props like Big Bang, Friends and a variety of movie props from various movies, not just the ones mentioned above so everyone could enjoy it not just those who saw the current movie. We stopped to see lots of cars from different films, but now it is just batman vehicles. I know many people who know these main movies will enjoy it but we did not. I don't believe it pay homage to Warner Brothers and the Studio they built, the number of movies produced or even the past or current TV shows that are filming there, except Big Bang. Not even Young Sheldon was mentioned or the new Abby's with its new format of filming. I think WB needs to look at the product it is putting out now because two days later, we took a tour of another studio, which was thorough, informative, personalized and felt like we were at an actual movie studio with references and examples of movie magic over the course of many decades, instead of just an assembly line. For a first timer who is up to date on the current films, you may enjoy it as long as you get a great guide who talks about the studio more than himself.

"Really Interesting and a lot of Fun!"

Had a lot of fun on this tour! Our guide was friendly and enthusiastic. He took us by golf kart to heaps of cool shooting spots on the lot we would recognise from film or TV. My favourite was probably the jungle section of the lot were they filmed part of the T-Rex car chase scene from Jurassic Park! We also got to see inside where they store the thousands of props! There were museum type areas dedicated to Bat-Man, Harry Potter and Aquaman. It was so cool to see the costumes and props used! We also got to see inside the sound stage for a TV show for Netflix which was so interesting to see! At the end of the tour we had a coffee and a cupcake at Central Perk and then did the solo and interactive area of the studio! We had so much fun using the green screens for Harry Potter! I would definitely recommend this tour if visiting LA!
