Sheraton Universal Hotel Universal City, CA

We booked a 3 night stay at Sheraton to celebrate my kid’s birthday at Universal. Best decision ever. Not only was the location excellent, the experience at Sheraton was amazing. We loved the heated pool and hot tub. The beds were super comfy. And most importantly, all the staff were friendly and helpful. When we were in the pool, there were no pool towels available. I texted to request and Eleanor/Emma responded and they replenished it immediately. I also informed the concierge (unfortunately I forgot his name but it was Jan 4th evening) that it was my kid’s birthday the next day.. and he arranged for a complimentary cake and balloon to be sent up. I texted to request for it to be sent early and Rosa responded immediately. Dai and team then arranged for the cake and even wrote a card for my kid. Overall, we were very impressed. Would highly recommended Sheraton and would definitely stay again.

We come here once a year, every year, for Halloween Horror Nights. The hotel is easy walking distance from USH if you can handle the hills. If not, the complimentary shuttle runs all day and only shuts down after the park is closed, even when it's open until 2am. Rooms in the main tower are incredibly modern and sleek and there are abundant charging ports. Beds are incredibly comfortable and supportive after 10+ hours of walking, with luxe linens and cozy pillows. The bathrooms are quite large with plenty of space for everything. Great water pressure and oak scented toiletries, a shower here is luxurious and revitalizing! One other note on the rooms, they have massive windows and true blackout curtains ensuring both a great view and a great sleep. The lobby and bar, as well as the pool deck are always lively and can get loud. The noise doesn't make it to the rooms, though, and only if you have a particularly rambunctious neighbor will you hear them. Speaking of the pool deck, the outdoor dining and bar are both great with abundant comfy seating, covered but open on three sides to enjoy that incredible SoCal sunshine and breeze. The menus at both the bar and restaurant are diverse and there are some real gems to be found. Ask your server for a recommendation and they'll set you up with something you'll love! Hospitality is top notch - we are always warmly welcomed back and updated on any recent changes to the property. If you have Platinum of higher Bonvoy status, the lounge is large and serves hot food both for breakfast and evening heavy appetizers. The lounge is accessible 24 hours with unlimited complimentary water and coffee, and sometimes also stocks sodas and juices. Value is a trade-off - it's expensive to stay here for HHN, but imo worth it. The proximity to the park, the complimentary shuttle service, and the comfort of the rooms make that price reasonable. This stay was our sixth and we look forward to many, many return visits.

If you’re looking for the best hotel located walking distance from Universal Studios Hollywood, this is it. It does not get better. Customer service is key here and it’s evident. A huge Thank you to Angel who works at the Front Desk. He was very courteous, patient, kind and professional. I will always appreciate customer service who takes their time to answer all my questions and never makes me feel rush. His kindness went above and beyond in making sure our entire stay would be pleasant. In addition to, a big Thank you to Jay who also works the front desk and although our encounter was brief, he too like Angel was memorable. Our room was located on the 11th floor with a corner room facing Universal. If you’re traveling with children they’ll be excited to see the oversized Minion! And if you’re an aviation lover, you’ll be able to plane spot from your room! There’s nothing like watching planes disappear in sky all in the comfort of your room! Bedroom was king size and the sofa turned into an extra bed and both were extremely comfy! We had complimentary bottled water and Starbuck coffee In our room. What a plus! There’s a bar on the Main Lobby, restaurant on premises And lounge access for Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members Platinum, Titanium and Plus. Overall, such a great experience! Thank you Sheraton, Angel and Jay for the five star experience! Already looking forwards to our next stay!

We travelled from Western Australia to see family and friends for the holidays. Seeing in the New Year at Universal Studios. Sheraton at Universal offered the best value for our Aussie dollar. The shuttle service to/from the park was much appreciated on New Years Eve when it was absolutely bucketing down with rain. The room itself had two generous queen beds, large bathroom with shower (that was powerful and hot). The little Starbucks coffee machine in the room was handy, although not to our Aussie taste. The little fridge was great for keeping our daughters gluten free snacks cool. Lourdes, on reception, was amazing when I called in a panic on New Years day morning. Our flight had been delayed over 6hrs. She graciously extend our check out until 4pm. All in all, a fabulous end to our USA trip and lovely start to 2026 thanks to her.

This hotel is horrible in every way possible. They throw parties till past midnight and you can hear everything all night. The rooms are dated and carpets are gross. The shower looks cheap and everything is peeling off. To make it worse the management ghost everyone. No respect for lifetime platinums. I can only imagine what others get. Do yourself a favor and stay in Hilton. Everything was better last time I stayed
