"Extremely Overpriced and Severely Run Down"

Stayed at Sheraton Universal Hotel on April 8, 2026, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience, especially for the price (~$400/night plus taxes and fees). The only positive was the staff—everyone we interacted with was kind and professional. However, the issues outweighed everything else. We planned to self-park for the advertised $16/night, but the garage clearance (6'4") doesn’t accommodate standard SUVs. No alternatives were offered, forcing us into $63/night valet. The room was extremely small, not ADA-compliant, and in very poor condition—worn carpet, broken tile, deteriorating furniture, malfunctioning sliding doors, a constantly dripping sink, and a bathtub that drained very slowly. There were also safety concerns with electrical near the curtains. The room was loud due to its location next to the pool. The hot tub did not work for the first day of arrival. Overall, this property is run down and significantly overpriced for what you receive. I have requested a full refund for the stay and reimbursement of valet charges due to the lack of parking options.
