Eco-friendly LED and CFL lights, along with solar shades, are featured in each room. Rooms with balconies and city views are available.

Guests can stop in for libations at the bar, which offers a lounge menu, specialty cocktails, and craft beer. A Downtown San Diego Restaurant serves modern, Southern California cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For quick meals and snacks, Ingredients Grab ’n’ Go offers pre-made sandwiches, pastries, coffee, and specialty drinks

Guests can relax in the outdoor pool or work out in the fitness center. A business center and concierge services are available. Spa services, including massages, are offered by Pure Body Spa. Advance reservations are required.

Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo are a 10-minute drive away. PETCO Park, home of the San Diego Padres professional baseball team, is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

I booked this hotel as part of a Delta Vacations package, and I really enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect, and there's even a frequent bus from the airport that drops you a short walk away. Naturally, it's a very nice hotel (I mean, it's a Westin), but to me, the rare perk was a bar that was open until midnight...something I never see in a hotel. I wish there had been a hot tub, but the outdoor pool was in a very sunny area, perfect for sunbathers.

The area has a lot of sketchiness to it. Wouldn’t want to walk the streets. Car only with doors locked. As soon as you walk through the front doors, you get hit with overwhelming cigarette smoke from the bar. The whole lobby stinks. It goes all the way up the elevator banks, and you can still smell it even on the high floors. Parking is ridiculous at $60 per night. Hotel is dated for a Westin although the room itself was nice. Way too busy an area. Would not recommend.

We had a great stay. The hotel is clean, bed and pillows are comfy, the food at Bronze Bird downstairs is delicious. The concierge is helpful and friendly. She helped to arrange a boat tour which is included with the resort fee. We enjoyed daily 2 free drinks. The pool area is great for relaxing.

Best customer service I have ever seen in a hotel. Greeted upon early show up and they had my room ready, the manager in the restaurant added a complimentary gluten free waffle to my buffet at no charge due to my food allergy. My only complaint was the room was stuffy as the AC went out on the 2nd night. Didn’t sleep well and was offered 20,000 Marriott points which never showed up. Otherwise, this hotel was outstanding,
