Each guestroom at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is furnished with a refrigerator and a coffee machine. A laptop safe and work desk are also provided. Eco-friendly LED and CFL lights along with solar shades are featured in each room. Rooms with balconies and city views are available.

Guests can stop in for libations at the bar, which offers a lounge menu, specialty cocktails, and craft beer. A Downtown San Diego Restaurant serves modern, Southern California cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For quick meals and snacks, Ingredients Grab ’n’ Go offers pre-made sandwiches, pastries, coffee, and specialty drinks

Guests can relax in the outdoor pool or work out in the fitness center. A business center and concierge services are available. Spa services including massages are offered by Pure Body Spa. Advance reservations are required.

Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo are 10 10-minute drive from The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. PETCO Park, home of the San Diego Padres professional baseball team, is a 15-minute walk from The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.

Minimum age to check-in: The reservation holder must be at least 18 years old to check in with a matching, valid, government-issued photo ID and credit card.

Parking: Valet parking is available for USD 60 per day per vehicle. Underground parking valet is only USD 10 per hour or USD 60 overnight - garage height clearance is 8 feet.

Pet Policy: Pets are welcome (dogs only). A non-refundable pet fee of $25 per night is due upon arrival. A maximum of 50 lbs and only 1 pet per room is allowed. Please notify the hotel prior to the arrival date if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.

Resort fee: A daily destination fee of $25 will be collected upon arrival. Inclusions are:

I would like to take a moment to compliment some very special people that we encountered during our wonderful stay at the Westin. We brought our goddaughter who has cerebral palsy, and in a wheelchair. When we arrived, the wonderful bellman helped us take her out of our vehicle and unload the equipment that we had for her. Thank you Ramon you’re the best. Upon check-in, Jason was also wonderful. He allowed us to check in a bit early so we could get settled. We went to the restaurant and spoke with Cynthia the manager and explained it was a very special night for us to be able to take her to dinner. She arranged a beautiful table for us with a sign that said welcome Peaches. Also, Marley, the chef made a very special dessert for her and she was in heaven. The wait staff, Javier, Juan, Alexis, Lorvette and Sebastian were also so kind to her and made her feel so special. I cannot thank these individuals enough for the kindness they extended to our family. We are not sure how many vacations we will be able to take with our goddaughter due to medical circumstances, but this one was memorable, and we will never forget these kind individuals. The Westin is fortunate to have such wonderful and caring employees. Thank you!

Check in service was friendly and warm. Nice location and restaurants. Bar has a lot of local beers and good wines. We enjoyed thanksgiving night. Two good theaters are always welcome us. Working distance we went to downtown bar streets and enjoyed.

GOOD Fitness center was good. Had 2 Peloton bikes although only 1 was working. Good location. Was able to get a late check out. NOT SO GOOD As a Bonvoy Titanium member I first tried to use my Suite Night rewards for an upgrade. I received the denial email the date I checked out. Despite having rooms available, no upgrade was available unless I paid $50/night. What's the point of Suite Night rewards if you can't use them. Didn't have recycling bins in meeting rooms. I will choose to stay at a different place next time I visit San Diego.

We had exceptional service by exceptional staff. Our room was very spacious, clean, and I’ve slept through all the nights we were there, which is a rarity for me when I sleep away from home. Dinner onsite at the Bronze Bird was fabulous. Concierge service was top-notch, and their staff is very knowledgeable about what to see and do in and around San Diego. Their recommendations were spot on, and did not disappoint. I would definitely return to Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, if I’m fortunate enough to return to this beautiful city.
