Eco-friendly LED and CFL lights, along with solar shades, are featured in each room. Rooms with balconies and city views are available.

Guests can stop in for libations at the bar, which offers a lounge menu, specialty cocktails, and craft beer. A Downtown San Diego Restaurant serves modern, Southern California cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For quick meals and snacks, Ingredients Grab ’n’ Go offers pre-made sandwiches, pastries, coffee, and specialty drinks

Guests can relax in the outdoor pool or work out in the fitness center. A business center and concierge services are available. Spa services, including massages, are offered by Pure Body Spa. Advance reservations are required.

Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo are a 10-minute drive away. PETCO Park, home of the San Diego Padres professional baseball team, is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Parking: Valet parking is available for USD 60 per day per vehicle. Underground parking valet is only USD 10 per hour or USD 60 overnight - garage height clearance is 8 feet.

My colleague and I are here on a work trip. We are having a great stay other than one of our shower doors doesn’t close. One of the highlights of the trip has been one of the concierge we have been lucky enough to work with, Zazima. She gave us some wonderful suggestions for dinner, drinks, lunch and some hidden gems close to the hotel. She was very helpful and really enjoyed her job. Great asset to the hotel!

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we knew we'd chosen the right hotel for our San Diego trip, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible front desk and hotel staff. Marjorie at check-in truly set the tone for a fantastic stay. She was absolutely excellent, not only processing our check-in efficiently but also taking the time to thoroughly explain all the hotel's amenities and services. It was clear she was genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had all the information we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Throughout our stay, the commitment to excellent service continued. Whatever needs or questions we had, the staff was always available and incredibly helpful. They seamlessly connected us with the concierge whenever we needed specific recommendations or assistance, and were a constant source of valuable information. Whether it was about the hotel's offerings, fantastic dining options in the area, or exciting things to do in San Diego, they were always ready with helpful suggestions. The seamless availability of amenities, coupled with such proactive and friendly service, truly enhanced our experience. We felt genuinely cared for and informed every step of the way. We really appreciate Zoxima’s help. She was very warm and resourceful. She helped us with the cruise and the bikes. She was also very patient, and made sure we felt like home in Westin. What I’d like to change is the shower. It makes loud noise and doesn’t drain well. Toilet makes loud sound when flushing.
