We had great seats. The performance was great. The costumes, the set, and the music were all amazing. This show is great for all ages. The play is very similar to The Lion King cartoon with some adjustments to keep it current.

"Amazing Performance"
April 2016
This is highly recommended for all ages. The costumes in the show are so creative and each actors character seems to fit their personality. The Lion King cartoon and this play are very similar, but it's still a tear jerker when Mufasa dies... The theater check-in was really easy with Reserve Direct E-ticket. The ushers are very helpful with getting you to your seats. One person in our group left their phone after the show and the theater had it waiting for us to pick-up the next day.

Booked not knowing exactly where we would be sitting. We were in the centre section of the front row!!! My mum was so excited the animals touched us several times. Had a fantastic night and will always remember having front row at a Broadway show.

I was fortunate enough to be able to see The Lion King on Broadway. After years of waiting and being I was bit sceptical if it would be a theater full of restless children, we decided to go. I can say we were were very glad we did. WOW!!!!! My fiancee was on the aisle so we had a front row seat for some of the amazing costuming. The children in the show were amazing. I was totally taken away and would not see the actors but saw the characters, the cast was great at taking you on that journey. Very good show!!!! The only negative is I waited this long to go!

So my friend and I decided to go to one of the most acclaimed show on broadway 🎭 tickets where at a “good price” bit of a blocked view in the orchestra section which was not mentioned when I booked the tickets. The show is good to great but for my friend was like ahh ok this is it? The reason is that I took her to Pensilvania to see a show at the sight and sound feather which is imposible to compare at any broadway show. What I like about the show is that they used all the space. Cons are the intermissions ladies plan not to go to the bathroom cus it gets crowded but is not only on LK show is basically every show on broadway.

"Not to be missed when in NY!"

Amazing show.. as if you are watching the movie real-time.. Young Simba and young Nala my favorite! Rafiki and Zazu were hilarious. All characters were well-played. Each scene is a canvas.. the outfit, the set, the props, the backdrops.. Do not miss the beginning and the end! The Lion King Broadway show has a dedicated theatre; Minskoff Theatre which is in the heart of Times Square. It was a bit chilly in the theatre, be careful. The coffee machine was out of order and there was nothing warm to drink. Theatre seating is well arranged and I felt all seats were able to enjoy the show. Best seats were Orchestra middle rows. Make sure you book a ticket before you travel to NY.. otherwise you can try your luck to get a cancellation ticket at the last minute.. I faced some issues purchasing the ticket online, the amount was blocked for some days and then got released. Don’t forget to take pics of Scar and Simba statues on the way out. Photography and Videography is not allowed during the show.

Each time we visit New York City, we always plan our schedule to include the great musical "Lion King!" Beautiful in every aspect, music, sets, costumes, talent artists! And I am 82 years young and still love the show, it's not just for the youngsters! And a wonderful story line with lots of good natured humor...good triumphs over evil! Don't miss seeing this classic the next time you visit the City. You can thank me later. :)
