The Broadway Theatre, which has hosted long-running shows such as Evita, Miss Saigon, South Pacific, and Fiddler on the Roof, is just an eight-minute walk away.

The hotel features a 24-hour fitness center, a shared lounge, an outdoor terrace with city-center views, and an on-site restaurant overlooking Times Square. Some rooms and suites provide spectacular views of the New Year's Eve Ball Drop and the vibrant Times Square.

Guest rooms and suites are well-equipped with HDTV, a mini-refrigerator, on-demand movies, a work desk, a hairdryer, an in-room safe, and Apotheke bath amenities. Suites even offer a living room for added space and comfort.

"Great Location, Disappointing Service for Diamond Memb"

As a Hilton Diamond member who stays 60–80 nights/year at Hilton properties, my experience at Tempo Times Square was really disappointing. Diamond members are entitled to space-available upgrades, but I was denied an upgrade and told that rooms are all the same except for suites — and that Diamond members are not eligible for suite upgrades, even though suites appeared available. The only option I was offered was a higher floor, which wasn’t much of an upgrade. I also asked if I could at least get a Times Square view room and was told they were sold out, but I later saw paid upgrades for Times Square view rooms available in the Hilton app, which was frustrating and confusing. I added my guest’s name to the reservation, and the concierge could see it, but I was told I wouldn’t receive the full $18/day Diamond food & beverage credit for my guest, even though Diamond benefits include a credit for the member and one guest. The location is great, but the staff was not friendly or helpful, and overall it felt like Diamond benefits weren’t honored at this property. One of my worst Hilton experiences, and it genuinely makes me consider switching brands given how much I travel.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my daughter . Friendly welcome at the main door and fast friendly efficient check in at the lobby. First impressions of our room were positive. Loved the aesthetics of the bathroom. Toiletries were luxurious . Plenty of towels available . The bedroom was compact but ample for what we needed . The bed was large and super comfy and the choice of lighting was a bonus . Rooms were quiet despite being on Times Square . We especially loved the floor to ceiling windows . The room was serviced each day with fresh bedding and towels . This was a welcome sight when we came back to the room after a busy day. The only thing I would’ve needed is a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea in the evening . A Nespresso machine with 3 pods are available. This was a beautiful hotel , close to the subway and within walking distance to many attractions and lovely eateries . Staff were always friendly helpful and welcoming . Would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a central hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely LOVED our experience at Tempo. The employees were all incredible. Need to give a special thank you and shout out to Bernard, Donte and Eddie! My fiancé left his phone in the cab and we realized it after we were already past security in the airport. They helped find his phone, bring it back to the hotel and ship it out to us. Thank you again, you guys are the BEST! Every single employee was so kind and did everything they could to make sure each guest was taken care of. The hotel and rooms were beautiful. I already planned another trip back to NYC and to stay at Tempo again. It will forever be my favorite hotel to go to. Great location too!

We recently stayed at Tempo by Hilton New York for one night during a family trip. The location was absolutely perfect, as it is just steps away from Times Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. As a Hilton Honors member, I was impressed with the dining credits provided. We received more than expected, so we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. The meal was delicious, and it was such a great way to wrap up our evening. Overall, it was a comfortable and satisfying stay for my family. Highly recommended for anyone visiting NYC, especially for Hilton members!
