"First time visit to The South's Grandest Christmas Show"
January 2020 NEW
This was my first time and I admit I was very skeptical of my visit . The foyer to the show looked beautiful very welcoming and Christmassy . The staff were all very friendly and helpful . It made for an exceptional welcome . The comedian who was the show's "filler" was a very good
entertainer . At the beginning of the show I was of mixed feelings ,some of the music was great ,some not so . Particularly the solo singers (female ) far too loud and piercing . I think overall the music was too loud . But perhaps this was deliberate due to the majority of patrons being in the retired class ?? After a while I started to enjoy the performance . It was of a mixed variety and all very well performed . I commend the performance because of all the details and effort that was put into the show . Very well done . Worth the money and we left full of Christmas spirit

Tip: The music is very loud . After the Intermission I noticed a lot of people had left . I think there was no clear announcement /confusion as to whether the show will go on or not . As I heard several comments such as "well it's supposed to be three hours !!!

"Annual Christmas entertainment."
December 2019
For the past 20 years, or so, we have been traveling to Myrtle Beach to see the Christmas shows and to celebrate my wife's birthday, 12/12. This year, after several years of ill health, we were both in great health and so the shows had great impact.
The Alabama Show was the best it has ever been! The comic Ricky Moxel was sensational. The MC was, as always, on top of everything. We marvel at the many costume changes.

Loved working with Tripster Vacations. It was so easy and the discount really helped, as I had to purchase 4 tickets. The show was awesome and would definitely see it again. I think this show is broadway-worthy. The talent is as good as it gets.

JUST a great Christmas program. Will bring a tear to the Scrooge in all of us. Could leave out the comedian tried to bring politics into an otherwise great show.

Tip: Get ready for a wonderful heart warming experience like you've never seen!!! I've been wanting to see this show for quite some time. Finally...it happened during my last visit to Myrtle Beach in December. Unfortunately the holidays have become so commercialized and the real meaning of Christmas has been lost.Host was wonderful, costumes were spectacular, comedian was hysterical. Your web-site was easy to use and the discount was great!!! I recommend this show to all. Its an uplifting spiritual experience....

"Greg Rowles country and gospel show!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed January 14, 2020 NEW
My family and I were lucky enough to get tickets to Greg’s show at the Alabama theater last Friday night and it was incredible!! He is such a talented performer with the regular Alabama show but you give him his band and a guitar and look out, you’re in for a show. From the production to the music and stories from Greg, this show was so much more than expected. Myrtle beach is lucky to have this kind of talent. Hopefully we will get to see more Greg Rowles feature performances in the future.

I attended the Greg Rowles Country and Gospel Show last Friday night and it was a spectacular show by a spectacular entertainer. Greg’s great choice of songs and his delightful singing ability as well as his extremely talented musicians kept the audience entertained for 2+ hours. I thoroughly enjoyed Greg’s personal stories, especially the one about his opportunity to write and sing the song he created from a poem about Sgt Alvin C York. There obviously was no end to Greg’s infectious talent and his ability to keep any audience involved and entertained. I will attend any show in the future that features Greg Rowles, which I hope are very many. By Beverly

"Greg Rowles’ Country & Gospel Special "
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed January 13, 2020 NEW
I had the pleasure of attending the Greg Rowles’ Country & Gospel Special for the second time and although last year’s performance was fantastic, this year it was even better! Upon entering the theatre, the stage was set in “down home “ style, revealing an elaborately detailed cabin porch complete with a functional door, working chimney that smoked subtly throughout the evening, (and even an “out house”. ) The show was opened by comedian Andy Locklair- a South Carolina native- who set just the right tone with his hilarious anecdotes and punchlines. The concert itself was an entertaining and enjoyable showcase of Greg Rowles’ talents, as well as those of the musicians onstage. My attention was captured in true toe-tapping style from start to finish. My favorite moments were when Greg shared personal stories of his parents, children, and beloved bride (who surprised him onstage), and especially when Greg played an audio clip of his dad singing then seamlessly segued into a live performance of the same piece. Also, my favorite praise song “We will dance” was done to perfection- a memorable moment. We are incredibly fortunate to have this caliber of talent on The Grand Strand, and I look forward to making this show an annual tradition! I highly recommend this concert!
