Description

The legacy of Pearl Harbor lives on, with Hawaii playing a critical role during the turn of events that reshaped world history. On this popular narrated tour of Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial and other historic Honolulu landmarks, you will explore firsthand what happened on Dec. 7, 1941 and how it greatly impacted the outcome of World War II.

The excursion begins at Pearl Harbor to relive the events that unfolded on that fateful Sunday morning in 1941, when U.S. forces at Pearl Harbor came under attack by Japan, catapulting the United States into World War II. A visit by boat to the USS Arizona Memorial then offers a real-time setting for reflecting on the extensive battle that took place, leading to the loss of life of 1,177 of the ship’s crewmen.

The journey then moves onward to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, a historical landmark offering a backdrop of scenic rolling green hills and lush foliage where many of those who fought for their country are buried, and finally past Honolulu’s most noteworthy historical landmarks, including Iolani Palace, Kawaiahao Church, the Hawaii State Capitol and Honolulu City Hall.

NOTE:
Pearl Harbor is an active military base, therefore a "no bag" policy exists on location, prohibiting purses, handbags, fanny packs, backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage and/or other items that offer concealment.

"Pearl Harbor on speed"
April 2022
We loved seeing Pearl Harbor but the tour was way too rushed. We could’ve used an extra hour. Our guide was very very difficult to understand. I missed about 80% of what he was saying. I have no problem with accents but he was very very difficult to understand. Unfortunate because I would’ve liked to have heard what he had to say. I was not impressed with the tour and would not recommend it.

Tip: Pearl harbor requires at least 2-3 hours. His tour was extremely rush and there’s not even any time to eat lunch there. The guy was extremely difficult to understand. I do not recommend this tour.

"Tour Guide was Fantatic -"

Koko was out tour guide. He told about the history of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and about the other stops (Punch Bowl and downtown). He set the foundation for our entire stay on the island - tremendous knowledge and insight.

The Bowfin submarine can be added to Pearl Harbor if you want. Be in the first group to see the movie.
