Description

from Pearl Harbor-USS Arizona-Honolulu City Tour
This unforgettable tour begins with a visit to the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center & Museum commemorating the victims of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941. The visitor exhibits provide historic details about the attack and memorialize the hundreds of American servicemen entombed in the sunken battleship underneath the site.

Next, you’ll visit Punchbowl National Cemetery, the final resting place for those who died in service to their country. The beauty and serenity of the cemetery’s rolling green hills and lush foliage offer a backdrop for quiet reflection and contemplation.

The final stage of this journey is a narrated tour of downtown Honolulu. You’ll see the impressive state buildings and churches. You’ll also see Iolani Palace, the only Royal Palace on American soil, as well as a majestic statue of King Kamehameha, the great Hawaiian warrior king who united the Islands.

Children under the age of 4 are free and must be seated on an adult's lap. If you require a seat for a child under 4, please purchase a child's admission.

NOTE:
Pearl Harbor is an active military base, therefore a "no bag" policy exists on location, prohibiting purses, handbags, fanny packs, backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage and/or other items that offer concealment. Bags can be stored in a secure storage facility for a $4.00 fee. The facility is located outside the front entrance near the Pearl Harbor Shuttle Stop.

Koko was out tour guide. He told about the history of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and about the other stops (Punch Bowl and downtown). He set the foundation for our entire stay on the island - tremendous knowledge and insight.

The Bowfin submarine can be added to Pearl Harbor if you want. Be in the first group to see the movie.

We did the circle tour of Oahu with Roberts tours and our bus driver, KoKo was fantastic. He gave us information throughout the drive, his voice must have been hoarse by the end of the day. He was so full of information about the island. We especially appreciate the effort he made so that we could visit the macadamia nut and coffee farm. Excellent tour! Excellent tour guide!!

"Pearl Harbor half day bus trip"

Despite a startling number of stops in Waikiki - we must have had 7-8 stops; and a driver who loved the sound of his own voice whittering incessantly on a tannoy mixed with interference, we enjoyed our trip. The ‘city tour’ aspect is literally driving around in traffic, it was not overly worthwhile, in my opinion. One perk was that as we were using our Go Oahu cards for the tour, we were also able to use the audio tour and the submarine on site, both of which were extremely worthwhile. Unfortunately, we did not have time to take the shuttle bus to the other nearby sites.

We did a tour with this company while in Kauai and it was a lot of driving and listening to the driver talk and not a lot of actually seeing things.

"Pearl harbour group A trip"

For many personal reasons Pear Harbour was considered a must do trip for our family. We had booked the early morning trip, we were at the designated pick up point and on time however after waiting over 45 minutes for Roberts to pick us up we asked the hotel to contact Roberts. Only to find that we needed to wait until 7am to contact them. When they were finally contacted they tried to blame us for not being at the correct pick up point and on time, which was incorrect. Fortunately our hotel concierge ensured that we were on the next trip, later than originally planned but we made it. Once at Pearl Harbour we found that it lived up to our expectations. I would recommend another tour operator or go independently it’s worth the trip.

This bus made a WIDE RIGHT turn from Puowaina downhill onto Hookui in Papakolea. The driver SAID HE WAS TRYING to avoid the low hanging trees...BUT HE CROSSED THE CENTERLINE into a small SUV.
