"Amazing location and relatively quiet and uncrowded"

We stayed from 2-9 January 2025 in the Ali'i Tower. I was in Honolulu to attend the HICE conference. We arrived off a 7.30 am flight and went straight to the hotel, where we were given access to our room immediately (with no additional charge). We had a nice view of the Super Pool and a partial view of the beach/ocean. I have stayed in this hotel over New Year's Eve and I noticed that it was a lot quieter a few days after NYE. We were always able to find three deck chairs together at the Super Pool and it was never over-crowded. Quick service at all the restaurants.

"Fabulous Service!"

I was greeted warmly by Lawrene at the Front Desk. Initially I was not sure which line up to stand in (as there were line ups for Silver Honors Members, tours, etc.). I did not see the Honors Gold line so I looked over to some of the agents, who either completely ignored me or looked at me like I was out to lunch. Lawrene, however, saved the day! She was welcoming, helpful and efficient. Lovely disposition and definitely an asset to the hotel. Other notables were the Bartender at Bali (he loves squirrels!), our breakfast server at Tropics (when he found out we were flying that day, he made sure we did not leave without banana bread/muffins). My memory isn't so great these days so I don't remember their names, but again, definite assets to the hotel. We stayed at the Ali'i Tower. Location is perfect and rooms are very spacious! We look forward to our next visit!

"Stay somewhere else"

Disappointing. Guests are more or less trapped and unfortunately manipulated in a captive market within the "resort". There is a whopping 50$ a day resort charge-- and its unclear what this covers apart from the wifi. Granted guests can find restaurants outside the resort and there are at least two ABC markets on site, food (deep fried fish, burgers and fries, etc.) is overpriced and w/o a car, ubers are quite expensive. if you are a hilton honors member, there are only three places on site where you can use your daily $18 credit. Finally, while the resort is located on the pacific ocean, the umbrella and chair rental on the sandy beach in front of the hotel is owned and operated by another company and costs roughly $80 for the day. Advice: stay somewhere else. I was told that Hilton does not own the property but the company that does continues to use the name.

Relynn provided outstanding customer service. We had a lot of questions about the amenities and she was very accommodating. She was intuitive to our needs and helped us expedite our check in process as a Hilton member. We keep coming back to this hotel for that reason!
