"Hawaii guest service"

Lisa makes our trips to Hawaii feel special with the wonderful hospitality. We’ve started asking for her whenever we get seated at Tropics. The Hilton Hawaiian has been a family destination since the kids were little. The hotel has changed a lot though. We miss the hot tub at the Alii pool as well as the rainbow buffet. I hope these come back (hot tub over buffet if you work at the hotel). Also curious to see what the construction along the beach ledge brings. We really liked the bench style ledge and I hope it is not getting removed.

Lisa was an outstanding server who made our entire dining experience memorable. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel truly welcome. Her attentiveness was spot on—always checking in at the right moments without ever being intrusive. Lisa brought great energy, was friendly and caring, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure we had everything we needed. She offered helpful suggestions, answered our questions with ease, and made sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet so personable. Lisa went above and beyond, and we’d gladly return just to have her as our server again. She’s a real gem and a credit to the team!

"Hilton Hawaiian Village is our Favorite Waikiki Hotel"

We have stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village many times. We think it is the Best on Waikiki. We always get a Suite on a high floor in the Rainbow Tower, facing Diamond Head. The Restaurants are great. The beach is at it's widest at the Hilton. Of course The Rainbow Tower is World Famous for it's appearance in the opening of the Classic Hawaii 5 0.

Ms. Karlyn at the front desk at the Hilton Hawaiian Village has been courteous and professional during each of my four stays on the property this year. I look forward to staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village due to Ms. Karlyn taking care of any issue of room assignment or billing.

"Just meh."

The hotel is... fine. I am staying (now day 3) in the Tapa tower. This is a renovated tower, clean enough, but nothing spectacular. Rooms are clean and nice TV, not a smart TV. No extras, very simple (ie. no bathrobe, pillows not great. Balcony, however, is a real plus. My bigger issue with the hotel is the intangibles. Almost every time you ask something, an employee directs you elsewhere instead of helping. Gym is fine but pretty ragged - I have asked twice about peloton bikes and they have not been repaired over the last three days. I sat at the patisserie trying to decide what to buy for five minutes. Granted, I only went up to the cash when lights turn ed off (I didn't realize they close at 2) but despite it only being 203, they told me it was closed. No, correction, they pulled the closed sign in front of my face. (Then the other employee actually gave me a sandwich. People just don't smile, they just don't seem really eager to help. Also, 28$ per day per chair at the beach? I can afford it but seems lame for a resort. Just my two cents. A pretty reasonable hotel but value for the dollar just isn't there.
