Description

The sights and sounds of December 7th, 1941, come alive on E Noa Tours’ Pearl Harbor City Tour. While most Pearl Harbor tours only focus on the attack at Pearl Harbor, this tour crafts an experience that includes what it was like to live in Honolulu during the days that followed.

Once you’re at Pearl Harbor, your tour guide will provide you with your admission ticket to visit the actual USS Arizona Memorial, which rests atop the actual sunken battleship that trapped over 1,000 servicemen on that fateful day of the attack. This somber monument commemorates their ultimate sacrifice; their names are etched in the memorial’s wall of remembrance, which was rededicated in 2014.

You’ll also have a chance to see various exhibits on display around the visitor center grounds, including memorials from different organizations honoring those who lost their lives during the attack and the war that followed it.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get a chance to speak to an actual Pearl Harbor survivor!

Don’t forget to visit the gift shop to mark your visit with one-of-a-kind mementos, books, flags that were flown on the Pearl Harbor National Memorial, and other interesting items.

The experience continues as you visit downtown Honolulu. Your tour guide will craft a story rooted in history as he guides you through the city, highlighting anecdotes that paint a picture of how it was to live in Honolulu during WWII.

Moments of the past echo through your mind as you pass by ‘Iolani Palace, the State Capitol, the King Kamehameha Statue, Aloha Tower, and various other points of interest around downtown Honolulu on your way back to Waikiki, concluding a truly memorable visit to one of Hawaii’s most popular sites and experiences.

NOTE:
  • Security restrictions at Pearl Harbor will be enforced. Please do not bring bags or anything that could offer concealment. Storage is available at Pearl Harbor for $8.00 per bag.
  • On rare occasions, the Navy unexpectedly suspends shuttle operations to the USS Arizona Memorial. In such a case, you will still be able to visit the many Arizona Memorial exhibits, films, visitor’s centers, and park monuments.
  • Dress comfortably, but please remember that shirts and shoes are required on the USS Arizona Memorial; swimsuits are not permitted. High heels, dresses, and skirts are not recommended.
  • Snacks are available for purchase at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.
  • Guide reserves the right to adjust the route for maximum visitor enjoyment and safety.

  • Be ready for spur-of-the-moment stops, unexpected views, and special sightseeing along the way!

"Do Not Take the Christmas Lights Tour"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed December 09, 2025 NEW
My friend and I went on the Christmas LightsTour. It was touted as as “See the Christmas Lights” of Waikīkī on board the double deck bus. It was anything but. We were shuttled to the Aloha Tower Patking lot where a make shift Santa’s Village was set up. They had a couple of games to play for prizes, a Grinch to have pictures with as well as a Santa Claus. We boarded the bus, left the parking lot, and drove a couple of miles to another make shift Village that had Food Trucks, some trees, and Christmas Decorations. We were told to exit the bus, spend 25-45 minutes there and another bus would pick us up. The announcement from the driver was very unclear as he was speaking over the loud Music on the PA. We opted not to get off the bus, and it returned to the Aloha Tower parking lot, where we were told meet our shuttle for a return to central Waikiki. The shuttle was not there. We waited another 45 minutes and we were finally taken back. We saw no Christmas lights if Waikīkī. It was disorganized and extremely disappointing. If you want to see Christmas lights of Waikiki, I suggest you purchase a hop on hop off ticket and take the route at night where you can actually see some of the lights that are at the hotels. Definitely not recommended Merry Christmas.
