Description

Since 1974, E Noa Tours’ Majestic Circle Island has been one of the most rewarding ways to explore O?ahu’s stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage. Knowledgeable tour professionals guide you through a full day of sightseeing, helping you and your family create lasting memories.

This itinerary is designed to maximize time spent off the bus, giving your group the opportunity to truly experience each location’s beauty and significance. Traveling in a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-bus keeps group sizes small, allowing for a more personal and relaxed experience with your guide. All admission fees are included—just bring spending money for snacks and souvenirs.

A delicious lunch is part of the day, with your driver sharing the day’s menu and offering a selection from favorite local spots. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and guests planning a swim at Waimea Falls should bring a change of clothes.

Itinerary:
  • Nu’uanu Pali Lookout – The first stop of the day is at one of the most scenic and historic places in all of O’ahu. Learn the story about how King Kamehameha united all of the Hawaiian Islands under one monarchy as you visit the very spot where a famous battle took place.

  • Byodo-In Temple – As you drive along the Ko’olau mountain range, you'll stop to discover a hidden gem tucked away from the main road. Byodo-In Temple was featured by National Geographic in “20 of the world’s most beautiful Buddhist temples,” noting its architectural details and awe-inspiring surroundings.

  • Tropical Farms—famously known as “The Little Country Store On Your Way to the North Shore,” Steve and Chrissy Paty started this as a roadside operation in 1987. Three decades later, it’s a great place to try different local snacks and learn how to crack open some macadamia nuts as the chickens stand by watching hungrily, hoping you drop a nut or two.
  • North Shore Lunch Stop – Your driver will update you on the daily menu and determine a great place for everyone to enjoy a delicious lunch before driving alongside the world-famous North Shore O’ahu coastline on the way to the next adventure.

  • Waimea Valley – Follow your E Noa tour guide on a short hike to a 45' waterfall where you can swim. Learn about the ancient history of Waimea Valley and why it’s considered to be a very significant and religious site.
  • Dole Plantation – The tour concludes with a drive through Haleiwa Surf Town and beautiful pineapple fields before stopping at the Dole Plantation. Don’t forget to try the world-famous Dole Whip frozen dessert, a perfect treat under the Hawaiian afternoon sun!

BONUS STOP(S) – “E Noa” means freedom. In addition to the stops listed above, E Noa tour guides are known to prepare something unique and special for every adventure.

"Do Not Take the Christmas Lights Tour"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed December 09, 2025 NEW
My friend and I went on the Christmas LightsTour. It was touted as as “See the Christmas Lights” of Waikīkī on board the double deck bus. It was anything but. We were shuttled to the Aloha Tower Patking lot where a make shift Santa’s Village was set up. They had a couple of games to play for prizes, a Grinch to have pictures with as well as a Santa Claus. We boarded the bus, left the parking lot, and drove a couple of miles to another make shift Village that had Food Trucks, some trees, and Christmas Decorations. We were told to exit the bus, spend 25-45 minutes there and another bus would pick us up. The announcement from the driver was very unclear as he was speaking over the loud Music on the PA. We opted not to get off the bus, and it returned to the Aloha Tower parking lot, where we were told meet our shuttle for a return to central Waikiki. The shuttle was not there. We waited another 45 minutes and we were finally taken back. We saw no Christmas lights if Waikīkī. It was disorganized and extremely disappointing. If you want to see Christmas lights of Waikiki, I suggest you purchase a hop on hop off ticket and take the route at night where you can actually see some of the lights that are at the hotels. Definitely not recommended Merry Christmas.
