Description

from Majestic Circle Island
As you set off for Oahu’s South Shore and the familiar outline of Diamond Head, enjoy stories and island history shared by your guide enhancing each stop and view: the tropical fish and reefs of Hanauma Bay; famous Halona Blowhole; scenic Sandy Beach; and spectacular Makapu’u Lookout on the island’s southeastern tip.

As you head towards Oahu’s Ko’olau Mountain Range, you'll also visit the peaceful, serene grounds of the Byodo-In Buddhist Temple, nestled in a green gem of a valley. Ringing the temple’s Peace Bell is said to ensure happiness and a long life.

Dropping down to Oahu’s North Shore, quaint towns and a laid-back local scene provide the backdrop to world famous surfing beaches – Banzai Pipeline, Sunset and Waimea Bay. The famous Waimea Falls lays behind lush rainforest, where you stroll among the thousands of varieties of exotic plants, unique species of Hawaiian birds, and archeological sites of Oahu’s historic Waimea Valley. This stop is a favorite because of “the beautiful scenery the valley has to offer and the peaceful sounds of birds and water flowing from the falls.”

Dole Plantation provides the day’s final stop on this ultimate Oahu Circle Island Tour. A cool frozen pineapple whip or sweet fresh pineapple – a real “Taste of Hawaii” – is hard to resist as you pick up a souvenir or two.

"Not worth it, especially for single traveler"
December 2015
I was bumped because they wanted to sell another ticket. Messed up my vacation schedule so I missed other things later. Two of the stops are just for you to buy things-nothing much to see. Since I had a day to kill on my own, I saw three of the major stops on the shuttle for a lot less money - I was hoping to have more time or better access on the more expensive tour but did not. Very dissatisfied.

"A long great day"

We took the day tour around the island. To see it all we had a limited time at each stop. The guide did a great job and while he spoke a lot, it was to explain to us what we were seeing along with history and culture. Worth the money. Kudo to the guide for returning to our hotel to return a bag of souvenirs we missed on the bus even though he told us all to check out belongings!

"Cousin Fred made a wonderful experience even more enjoyable."

We were picked up at the designated spot at Hilton Hawaiian Village. We made a couple of other stops and were on our way to Pearl Harbor. This tour is amazing and leaves you feeling a bit solemn and very appreciative of our greatest generation. After returning from the USS Arizona, Cousin Fred was strumming his guitar and entertained us. After everyone was onboard, he continued the tour through Honolulu. His knowledge and expertise were fantastic. On our next visit to Oahu, we will definitely use E Noa Tours.

"Early, but worth it!"

We did the half day tour of Pearl Harbor, and the USS Arizona. Apparently, to guarantee tickets to the Arizona memorial, you have to book a crack of dawn tour. ( the tickets are free, but they only give out so many a day) We were picked up at our place at the Ko Olina Resort at 6:30am. The tour guide was very friendly and gave a narrative of many things Hawaiian on the way there. She dropped us off and made sure everyone had their tickets and directions then picked us up again at 10:15. Great way to see some history, before the heat and crowds. They also offer full day tours, but we had 3 kids with us and didn’t think their attention span could last that long.

"Information overload"

The tour guide was quite knowledgeable about Hawaiian history but it was a lot to take in on such a short tour. It would’ve been nice if at least one point during the driving portion of the tour he would’ve said OK I’m going to stop talking now for about 10 minutes or so and just let you all enjoy the scenery and if anyone has any questions you can feel free to ask.
