Great luau with many activities for the whole family. Test your warrior skills with spear throwing (O`o `ihe) and rolling stone disks (Ulu Maika) or if you're feel crafty, string a strand of flowers to wear. Ride in an Outrigger Canoe around the Cove and partake in the Hukilau to add to your fun filled evening. Purchase the transportation to avoid driving in traffic.

from Paradise Cove Luau
Serving Hawaii's malihini (guests) and kama'aina (locals) for more than 20 years, Paradise Cove is one of the largest and most respected luau shows in Hawaii. Located at the beautiful Ko Olina Resort on the leeward coast of O'ahu, Paradise Cove features brilliant sunset views from our 12-oceanfront acres.

A tropical Mai Tai greeting and live Hawaiian music set the festive mood of the evening. Casually stroll through the Hawaiian Village and learn the Arts & Crafts of the islands or test your skills at our Hawaiian Games.

After the delightful Shower of Flowers, participate in the Hukilau on the Beach and learn the net fishing techniques of old Hawai'i. Witness the pageantry of the Royal Court Procession and the time-honored techniques of underground oven cooking at the Imu Ceremony.

The evening continues with a feast in the company of friends, old and new. Bring your appetite to fully enjoy Paradise Cove's extensive menu which tastefully blends the best of traditional Hawaiian dishes, local favorites, and continental cuisine.

With the most spectacular Hawaiian sunset as a backdrop, our award-winning performers will entertain and amaze you with an unforgettable display of songs and dances of Hawai'i and Polynesia at the incomparable Paradise Cove Extravaganza.

"Very fun evening full of Polynesian culture!"
March 2019
Overall, our family of four (my husband, myself, and our two teenage girls) had fun and learned a lot about Polynesian history and culture! Because we didn’t have assigned seating, we arrived an hour before the gates opened. We were given our luau gift cards (which had $ loaded on it to spend at the bar or gift shop during our time at Paradise Cove). During the wait time, you could view the beach area, use the restrooms, and explore the gift shop. Once all of the tour buses arrived, the gate area got crowded quickly, but they opened the gates a little early. We were offered a mai tai (alcoholic for 21+ guests, and non-alcoholic for younger guests) upon arriving. We also had a group picture taken with two dancers. From that point, direction was a little lacking, but we eventually figured out that we could wonder around the grounds and have pictures taken, get temporary tattoos, take a canoe ride, play traditional Polynesian games, make lies and crowns, visit the bar, or explore the many gift stands they had set up at our leisure. About an hour in, we heard a conch shell being blown, and when we saw people gathering, a few of the dancers were teaching about traditional Hawaiian apparel and teaching hula dancing. From that point, we followed the dancers around the grounds as they taught more about the Polynesian culture and then lead us to our tables. We said a prayer, and then were released table-by-table to the buffet. The buffet was full of delicious food, and we all enjoyed it. We were a little bummed that we weren’t served water or tea with our meal. (You had to get up and get it from coolers at the back of the dining area, we later realized.) But overall, it was a fantastic, traditional Hawaiian meal. Then, the show began. It was incredible! The singing and dancing were spectacular, and told stories and history of not only Hawaii, but also the Cook Islands, Tahiti, Tonga, and Samoa. We enjoyed it very much!

"Love the Luau"
December 2018
Paradise Cove Luau was great, there was allot of fun things to see and experience. The cooking pit and fishing net cast were only a few. They made head dress crowns and wrist flower bands for the ladies. The food was great and that was topped off with and exciting Hawaiian dance. The fire twirler was the main show and what a show. This was my second time there and I will go again.

Nice pic of beers and cocktails. But have to put a big shout out to our host cousin Emma who did a fantastic job, she was polite, funny and was just there to make sure we all had a great time. So we say give the woman a raise and a personal thank you to making our night a bit more awesome!

"Perfect way to learn about Hawaiian culture"

This is my first trip to Hawaii and I truly wanted to learn about the people. Honolulu has far less Hawaiians and mostly Asian culture groups. The Luau was the first true educational moment on an my 5-day trip. Cousin Flo needs to be recognized for her loving heart and kind spirit. She was our guide from bus pick up to drop off at hotel. She allowed me to ask questions to be educated about the history of the people. She made the bus ride fun round trip. When I come back, I will make sure to request to be on here tour. All the personnel of Paradise Cove were like cousins you hadn't seen in a while. All were friendly and fun to learn from. If people would lead by their example, we would be a much better nation. They drew a beautiful butterfly as a temp tattoo. We took pictures with beautiful birds, watched a guy climb a tree in seconds, saw how they would fish, how to tie a sarong (men and women) and so much more. I HIGHLY recommend people go to this luau. The food was great! The mai tais were fantastic. The people were the creme de la creme of it all because they were inspiring, encouraging and gracious. My only regret was not getting a photo with Flo!!!!

Mediocre food. My wife found several insects in her food. This is a tourist trap. $450 for 3 people and not even soda is included. Desert is a bad chocolate cake or pineapple- that could be pelled. They say this is #1 voted best Luau in HONOLULU. This should be in the last place.

Paradise Cove offers a variety of activities to enhance our knowledge of island culture. From climbing a coconut tree, weaving flowery leis and bands, riding a canoe, and community fishing, all adds to the fantastically choreographed show of Pacific islands cultural dances and music. Located on the West side of Oahu where epic sunsets allure the senses of both young and old, the setting by the beach as the sun dips on the horizon offered amazing romantic views coupled with superb luau feast and drinks. It’s always wise a trip to the souvenir shop, and recommending the best show package “Deluxe” for this event. Lovely show, great staff, beautiful setting; easy island life, Mahalo.

Authentic tour of Pacific islands with many different dance costumes and dance styles. Perfect setting right on the coast. MC did a great job explaining and moving the show along. Dinner had plenty of food on the buffet just be sure to load your plate because once the show starts you can’t leave your seat, well and you don’t want too! Before dinner is served and the luau begins they also have several demonstrations from different Hawaiian customs. You could also have a professional photo made.
