Our family (4 adults) visited her in january 2026 . as part of our touring downtown we did this on a overcast cloudy day. bought tickets at the gate. we thought the price was fair for what you get. the stunning architecture was awesome. the building has 4 floors to explore with all kinds of artifacts , pictures, statues , and more. some of the rooms had staff there to help explain what you are seeing. the museum does allow you to take pictures and has a bar/cafe on the ground floor. i think kids would get bored in here so keep that in mind if you have them. spent about an hour and a half here. did not eat anything during our visit.

Very interesting museum. Well worth a visit. Maybe not so much for younger kids, but older ones and adults for sure. We really enjoyed the various rooms and displays as well as seeing the historical building. Be sure to visit all the display rooms as their are pictures of what the areas originally were and a lot of the fixtures are still there.

Striking architecture. Grumpy person whose job was to orient us to the museum. Eccentric is the word. OK, but for the most part ,the objects were not compelling. Tiffany lamp was beautiful, but that does not a collection make. Installations were lackluster. We've had a lovely time in St Augustine, but this visit was disappointing.

Saint Augustine is a fantastic city to visit for history, culture, diverse food and great people. If you enjoy parking your car and not needing it till you leave Saint Augustine is for you. The city is charming, on the small side and very walkable which is something I really enjoy.
