"Horrible 🙁"

On the day of checking in the front desk lady ms Karen was very rude… wen we asked her about breakfast she laughed and said that they didn’t have breakfast…. And wen my husband stated that with the amount of the room we thought they would have a decent hot breakfast she stood there looking like we were wrong for even thinking that… and the next we didn’t have a working television and wen we went to speak with Miguel about the situation he said to us well who goes on vacation and watches television… my husband and I was applauded by wat he said… the customer service there is horrible… the toilets are low to the floor, no microwaves the room was not up to par at all not worth wat we paid at all… we was very disappointed and unhappy with our stay….

"Almost a Year Later – Still No Deposit Refund"

I stayed at this hotel almost a year ago, and I’m still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. Despite having provided all my details multiple times, the issue remains unresolved. The management continues to respond with vague and unhelpful replies, avoiding any real action. It’s extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience alone.

"Close to Times Square. Clean, but lacked any wow factor."

My daughter and I were 4 nights in NY. Spent 2 nights Wed and Thurs at this hotel and 2 at the Westin Fri and Sat. I booked this hotel as close to Times Square but in hindsight I would have stayed slightly further out for a nicer hotel experience. Entrance area was under scaffolding at the time and felt dark and unwelcoming on arrival which was a little disappointing . Check in was fine. Room was a little tired with no view. Room was clean and adequate but as it was a relatively expensive hotel I was hoping for more on our first trip to NY. We then moved to Westin for Fri and Sat . Similar price much better experience.

Very bad experience.Very very old property.Need for immediate renovation.Very bad breakfast.Never come again.As a Bon boy member,I’m totally disappointed .Iam I thought of cancelling the membership.Only advantage is location.Very near to Times Square.

"Elevator Malfunction and Security Guard Misconduct"

I am a guest in Room 1206 at the Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square. I am currently staying at the hotel and, earlier this evening—between 7:15 p.m. and 7:25 p.m.—I was waiting for the elevator. There seemed to be an issue, as only one elevator was operating. My girlfriend waited in line while I sat nearby. We could not board the first elevator that arrived, so I stood up and called the second one. Altogether, we waited about ten minutes. When the second elevator finally approached, I joined the line, hugged my girlfriend, and we stepped into the cabin. To my surprise, a security guard aggressively yanked my backpack. I am unsure whether he was trying to prevent me from accidentally hitting someone with the bag—since I was wearing it—or whether he thought I was cutting the line. Regardless, his action was forceful enough to pull me backward, which I find wholly inappropriate for a hotel’s standards of guest service. To make matters worse, I returned to my room and attempted to call reception to report both the elevator issue and the guard’s conduct, only to discover that the room phone does not work. I then tried to go down to the lobby, but—unsurprisingly—the elevator never arrived. What kind of hotel is this? This situation is unacceptable. We were also poorly treated upon arrival yesterday. Frankly, I am extremely disappointed with the hotel thus far.
