"Courtyard Times Square (Unprofessional Management Experience)"

One of the worst hospitality experiences I've ever had. I came up from Baltimore to New York for a work conference. When I arrived for check-in at around 2am after getting off my Amtrak train from Baltimore, Maryland - management at the Courtyard told me there was "water damage" to my hotel room & that they had no other rooms available. They told me that my reservation was changed to the Residence Inn Times Square (across the street). When I got to the Residence Inn, they told me that their "system was down" and stalled for 15 minutes to let me know that there were no rooms available at their hotel either. With that being said, I ended up coming back to the Courtyard to let them know what the management at the Residence Inn said to me. They were not able to further assist with me getting a room, leaving me with nowhere to stay for the night. Deep down, I feel like the management at the Courtyard gave away my room without telling me, but there's no way for me to confirm this. I was not notified via email or phone about any of this prior to arrival - I just showed up and they verbally told me everything I've wrote in this review. Unfortunately, I had no other option but to schedule a train ticket back to Baltimore at that point.

"Great location"

Great hotel within walking distance of most major attractions. Clean & nice king room. People said rooms were small but our room (1606) was quite comfortable. Staff here were very nice & helpful. Enjoyed convenience of Tge Market & Nosh. Would recommend.

"Stay Away and never stay here"

This is the worst hotel you can ever find in Marriott. Never stay here - it is a scam. - AC does not work - Wifi does not work - Staff is impolite and rude - they do not put any shower gel or soap. They will not listen to your complaints and cannot even give you a fan. Stay here if you have money to waste

"Disappointing"

Disappointing I that for the price we paid there were several things that were not up to par .. the entry has ugly plastic vines and flowers sidewalk to ceiling… live plants were hidden behind them! There were homeless right out beside this…. The pillows, sheets and towels had definitely been through many washes as they lacked the crispness of other Marriott experiences…. They offered to call a cab which we assumed was free, but it wasn’t! No mention of a charge and we did on our own after that….

"Best value and family friendly"

Great location as it’s next to Bryant Park where the winter holiday shops are, by subway station, a Japanese market and a Whole Foods. It’s also walking distance to Broadway and Times Square. We stayed on floor 33 and the double bed room was quite spacious for New York, with a fridge and clean. It was super quiet in room 3305. Definitely a place I see coming back here with my family.
