How long is the tour?Tour duration is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
When should we arrive?Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled flight's departure time.
Is this tour age-appropriate?All ages are welcome on Redtail's flights, especially on this Canyonland and Arches tour. Children over 24 months must sit in their own seats on the plane. Redtail Air provides booster pillows.
What if I get sick on the flight?Paper bags are available on all Redtail's flights for queasy passengers. Support bands are available at check-in upon request. Bring anti-nausea medication if you are prone to motion sickness.
Do we actually fly over the national parks?Yes! You will fly over the Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and see sights including Upheaval Dome, Green River Goose Neck, Island in the Sky, White Rim, The Maze, and more! Redtail Air has scheduled flights with set routes for viewing the most scenic areas over southeast Utah.
Are pets allowed on flight?Sorry, per FAA regulations, pets are not allowed on the plane. Service animals are permitted with proper documentation indicating that the animal is a service animal.
Is parking available?Parking is available at the airport free of charge.
What should we wear?Comfortable clothes and a light jacket are recommended.
What should we bring?Water, a light jacket, a camera and sunscreen.
What if I'm running late?Redtail's aircraft are scheduled for exact departure times. However, they will do their best to accommodate passengers running late. If you are running late, please contact Redtail Air at the number listed on your e-ticket.
Can we bring alcohol?No, alcohol is not allowed on any of Redtail's aircraft.
How many people can fit in the plane on this Canyonlands & Arches National Parks tour?This is a small plane tour. The minimum number of passengers on a flight is two, and the maximum is 9 people per aircraft.
Is the onboard commentary available in other languages?Redtail Air welcomes all ethnicities on their flights. However, Redtail's guided flights are narrated in English only.
Can this tour accommodate persons with disabilities?For passengers who may need special assistance, please make a note of any special requests in the tickets' comment section above when booking your reservation.
Can I go on this tour if I'm pregnant?Yes, women who are expecting are welcome on this tour.
Will there be bathroom breaks?Redtail's airplanes do not contain restrooms, so please use the restrooms in the terminal prior to your scheduled departure.
What is the tipping policy?Tips are entirely at a passenger's discretion. However, if you received excellent service on your flight, then Redtail's pilots will certainly appreciate a gratuity.
What's the weather policy if it rains?You will still be able to take the tour if it rains, but on rare occasions, your flight may be canceled due to weather conditions. In those situations, they will work with you to reschedule your flight.
