  • Please be at the meeting location 15 minutes prior to your tour time, or you can request pick-up from your Moab motel or campground if needed.
  • Remember to bring a refillable water bottle, swimsuit or fast-drying shorts, sunscreen, sunglasses with a securing strap, a hat, and sturdy footwear. No flip flops, please.

This full-day excursion will introduce you to Canyonlands National Park's Island in the Sky district by 4-wheel drive (4WD), followed by a rafting trip through the stunning Professor Valley in the afternoon.

In the morning, explore remote four-wheel-drive trails in the Island in the Sky, including a portion of the White Rim Trail and Shafer Trail, and stunning views at Fossil Point. In the afternoon, you'll transfer to rafts for some whitewater fun on the Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River. A few moderate rapids and lunch on a riverside beach make for a fun-filled afternoon.
