Comfort Suites Moab near Arches National Park in Moab, UT

No one at this place will help if you encounter a problem with your reservation. I tried for 3 days to reach someone to help me make a change. Finally reached someone at reservations but they wasn’t any help said the front desk might be able to help me but that was a joke couldn’t ever get through. So I’m out $210!!! Never again! I’ll stick with staying at Homewood suites while visiting.

We recently stayed at this hotel for four night as we completed our visit to the Mighty 5. The hotel is very clean and all of the employees are very nice. The rooms are large, well maintained and the beds are comfortable. The free breakfast is good (standard options like make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, breads, cereal, fresh fruit, etc) and is open for several hours each morning and was always well stocked & clean by the attending employee(s). There’s also a small but modern fitness center (1 elliptical, 1 treadmill, 1 bike, & some free weights) with a filtered cold water station (great to fill up the water bottles before hitting the parks. We also appreciated the laundry room with 2 large washers and 2 large dryers ($2.50 each). The down sides … the pool area is small and dated. It’s the only part of the hotel that really shows its age. We hadn’t planned on using & didn’t even look as we made the reservation. However after several hot, dry hours at the parks, we used the pool and hot tun (almost daily) that are essentially in the parking lot. They did the job but felt like you were at an old dated apartment complex pool. Also while the breakfast was good, it was essentially the same menu everyday. The location is great as on the north side of town, making it easy to get to the area parks and the Colorado River and we could easily walk the other way (headed south) for a variety of shops and restaurants. Our favorite dinner spot was the Broken Oar, right across the street from the CS. About a mile away is Gilberto’s which has great tacos and other Mexican foods. If I were to return, I’d first consider the Hyatt Place hotel which is new & has a great looking pool complex.

Choices are always “compared to what?” Our two-night say was perfect for our visit to Arches National Park. Really like the way they handle room cleaning. You get a paper to post before 9 AM with what you want done. Good breakfast. Lots of parking behind the hotel.

This was a wonderful place to stay for my long weekend in Moab. Location was perfect- walking downtown was easy. The people working there were so nice and friendly! The room was spacious and comfortable. I want the pillows! I would definitely stay there again, and off season rates are very reasonable.

excellent place to stay while visiting the areas around Moab! clean facilities...room smelled fresh...staff encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful...breakfast offered was good and filling...best of all is the proximity to Arches NP...highly recommend this place
