Drawn to Life Cirque du Soleil - 2023 Insider's Guide

January 12, 2023

Disney is in the business of bringing art to life through animation, while Cirque du Soleil does the same through acrobatics. When the two team up? It’s pure magic.

The Drawn to Life show is nothing short of a spellbinding spectacle. Talented performers bring an enticing plot to life to keep you on the edge of your seat. Our Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil tips will help you get the most out of your viewing of the show!

The Cirque du Soleil Theater, located in the Disney Springs section of Walt Disney World, was home to the show La Nouba from 1998 to 2017. After this, the theater was unused for a few years until the opening night of Drawn to Life finally arrived in November of 2021.

Today, this ode to art and two of our favorite entertainment companies is delighting viewers left and right. Needless to say, Walt Disney animation combined with a Cirque du Soleil show is a winning combo. Before you make your way to the show, read our Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil & Disney tips so you can buy tickets and make plans like a seasoned pro. It's showtime!

Why You Should Go

Let's set the scene. An animator's desk -- lonely and quiet. This is how they all appear without the magic of the animator, isn't it? Soon, however, the creator's imagination will burst to life before your very eyes. The story follows the journey of a girl named Julie and is peppered with Disney memories from her childhood.

Scene after scene of captivating color, light, and movement is filled with beloved Disney characters and even some new characters. The gravity-defying acrobatic mastery of Cirque du Soleil will leave viewers in absolute awe.
