The Yosemite in a Day tour from Tower Tours begins with a three to four-hour drive to Yosemite Valley. You will have a brief rest stop halfway to the valley. While on board the bus, your tour guide will provide narration, and you will see such sights as:
  • Bridal Veil Falls
  • El Capitan
  • Half Dome
  • Merced River
  • Valley views

Once in the valley, you can enjoy up to 3 hours of leisure time exploring the park. You can walk to the base of Yosemite Falls, check out the visitor center, visit the Ansel Adams Gallery, stop at the Ahwahnee Hotel, rent a cruiser bike, or hike some of the trails that originate in the valley.

Although you could spend three weeks in Yosemite, the three hours of leisure time you get on your own is enough time to understand why Yosemite is one of America’s most popular national parks.

Guests staying in these areas of San Francisco are recommended to take BART or CALTRAIN into San Francisco, where pickup service can be arranged.

Will I be transported back to my hotel after the tour?

Yes. Guests will be dropped off at the location nearest their hotel.
