Ready to take on the busiest area in DC? Skip the crowded sidewalks and slide into our all-electric Red Roadsters to be guided around our nation’s capital by a local.

Our National Mall tour will start at the L’Enfant Plaza metro, where our guides will take you back to the city’s origins and give you some tips for exploring the city on your own. You’ll work your way through the Smithsonian area, discussing the best exhibits in each. Make sure you bring a notebook because you’ll want to take notes for later!

Next, breeze past the Washington Monument, Holocaust Museum, and Bureau of Engraving and Printing on your way to our beautiful Tidal Basin, where you’ll be entertained with the stories behind the watery oasis and the Jefferson Memorial.

You’ll also have the opportunity to hop out and explore on your own! We’ll do that at two stops: the FDR and MLK memorials, as well as at the Lincoln memorial. At both locations you’ll head out on foot with tips and insider information from our guide, and you’ll be able to spend some time inside these amazing memorials. Afterwards, you’ll cruise along the scenic Potomac River with views of Arlington Cemetery before seeing the World War I and World War II memorials.

Continue your journey through American history with a drive past the White House. Finally, feast your eyes on the buildings of Capitol Hill and learn the history behind the Capitol Building, Supreme Court, and Library of Congress. End your tour on a high note by asking your guide for an amazing spot for lunch before exploring the rest of DC on your own.

Hands down, best way to see DC! Our guide Katie was Knowledgable and spoke clearly which was really helpful because my mother has a hearing loss. Also loved the size of the group which was small. I would highly recommend this trip. Frances MacDougall BC Canada

This late evening tour was a fantastic tour around the significant sites of DC. The tour is done in a seven seater electric car around dusk and it offers a wonderful photo opportunity of taking great pictures of the capitol building , Whitehouse, Lincoln Memorial and so many more. Sasha the driver and guide was a great source of information and gave a memorable tour. This tour is well worth the time and money and will allow you to take those memorable pictures

"An excellent tour for our first time to DC!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

This was our first time to Washington DC so we were looking for a fun tour to do on our day of arrival. We came across this tour last minute and it sounded like what we were looking for, so we booked it. Our tour guide was Steve and let me tell you: He was so much fun and knowledge and kept you on your toes throughout the whole tour that before you know it... the tour was done! Lol He drove by the most iconic and historic locations while mentioning local locations within the city which made it much more enjoyable. I highly, highly recommend giving this tour a shot for those coming for the first time or for those learning more about the city. A true gem.

"Parents beware"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed July 09, 2019 NEW
I booked a 10:00 tour. I have three children, my youngest is under 4. When you buy tickets on TripAdvisor, it does not allow you to buy tickets for kids under 4. I read the rules and it said to contact the company regarding lap children. So, I contacted the company via email to tell them that I also had a 3 year old lap child. I received an email in return that stated I needed to buy a ticket for my child under 4. The email had no phone number, no email, a Skype address in Vietnam, and a Facebook page. Literally no contact information or helpful information. I went to TripAdvisor to try to add a person to my tour. There is no option for this. I tried to cancel and re book of five people. The tour was sold out. I spent almost an hour on the phone. Ultimately I had to rebook myself and pay full price and change the time to the 2:00 tour. I spent hours and I had to re arrange all of our travel plans. No one offered me a discount even though the mistake was not mine. This mistake was entirely with Tripadvisor and Urban Adventures. No one truly helped me. Parents, beware of this tour. I would save yourself the time and headache and do something else while in DC.

"Dupont Circle Food/Walking Tour: Embassy's and Italian Food!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

Get a taste, literally, of the Italian side of Dupont Circle in this food and walking tour. We started at La Tomate with an orientation as well as a charcuterie assortment and homemade ravioli, paired with a glass of our choosing. Delicious! The tour took us to the beautiful brownstone streets surrounding Dupont, along streets hosting Embassies from around the world, stopping for meatballs and local beer as well as gelato and coffee. Our guide Stephen was knowledgeable and entertaining. This tour lasted close to 3 hours and was well worth the price as we were satiated by the end. Thanks Stephen, we hope to return for the Georgetown Tour in the future!
