This was the best vacation experience I've ever had. I called before check-in to go over a few confirmation questions I had and was assisted by Diamond. She was knowledgeable, very kind, and made this trip truly the best I could possibly wish for. Elizabeth assisted me at check-in and was very helpful meeting my needs so I could make it to Halloween Horror Nights in time for opening. I had breakfast at the buffet, which was phenomenal and had many options. I took a dip in the large swimming pool to cool off, as well as enjoyed the hot tub. My room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The concierge was also very helpful with information about Universal for a second day at Epic Universe. 10 out of 10! 5 stars! I definitely will return in the future and cannot wait until the next time. Thank you Double Tree @ Universal Entrance, specifically Diamond and Elizabeth for the amazing experience and awesome vacation.

Customer service was ok but they do drop the ball a lot . Hotel is old, rooms outdated, elevator buttons broken, AC unit works on and off and this is Florida! I don’t know why it says at the entrance of universal since this is a good 25 minute walk to the park.

Great experience at this hotel! While rooms are a bit dated, the location, pools and on site dining availability are all excellent. Specifically had amazing experiences with Alex (Alexandria) from HGV and the lady working the Pizza and Burger station on 10/12 at lunch. While I did not book a package for HGV, Alex gave the best experience I’ve had in years as a Diamond member and with two previous HGV bookings under my belt—she is awesome! I also really appreciated the level of service and personality from the Pizza and Burger spot. Really great overall, and I would definitely come again!
