The Runaway Mountain Coaster in Branson, MO

This was fun experience! We had intended to go to Copperhead Coaster but it was having issues and late opening and we were on a time schedule so drove the 15 minutes to Runaway. There were 4 in our group ages 66-78. The tickets were $20.00 each for solo rider. There are many coupons available so you can save a couple bucks. Take the sign that says ' if you like don't bring it on the ride' literally as my husband's ball cap flew off. oops. The ride does joggle you back and forth quite a bit so be prepared to be a bit 'sore' but its short lived. Yes we would all do it again!

We chose to do the Runaway Coaster at 935 State Highway 165 in Branson, Missouri. We purchased tickets ahead of time through AAA and then purchased “rider only” tickets once we got there. This was an amazing experience for the family as a whole. The option of controlling the speed of the car takes away the terror but leaves in the thrill for everyone because it can be adjusted to each person‘s comfort level. All of the employees were helpful and friendly. Once we had completed the ride all ages, from 6 yrs to 72 yrs, wanted to repeat it several times! It was truly the only Branson ecperience with which everyone was EQUALLY thrilled. Thank you for offering such a safe and empowering experience. (This was the first roller coaster ride FOR THE KIDS …. it was a perfect introduction to the exciting roller coaster experience!) Recommended for families of all ages.
