Description

from The Runaway Mountain Coaster
The Runaway Branson Mountain Coaster is the only alpine mountain coaster in Branson and the Ozarks. This Alpine coaster was the most talked about thrill ride in 2016 with a 5-star rating on TripAdvisor! It is also the foundation of the area’s newest outdoor attraction park, the Branson Mountain Adventure Park. Mountain coasters are a relatively new attraction in America and we’re pleased to bring one of the best to the heart of the Midwest. Our Branson Mountain Coaster features more family-friendly thrills in town – more dips, more turns, more zigs and zags, more ups and downs. A true American made experience, the Branson Mountain Coaster races down the Ozark hillside weaving in and around trees, through nature and soars high over a creek leaving you breathless and ready to Runaway again!

"Pretty Great Until..."
August 2018
This was my first trip on the coaster. The thrill of trekking.up the beautiful mountainside by way of train/pasenger car was pretty great. Until coming back to pay for our second ride was not a good experience at all. After arriving within about 30 minutes of closing, a ride that I thought would take about 15 mins, took much longer for a situation that could have been prevented.

"DANGEROUS RIDE!!!!"

This is a super dangerous ride!!! We rode yesterday and was in a crash! The safety mechanism that is supposed to keep you from crashing does not work all the time!!!! I found out today there have been other crashes and I’m sure more that have not been reported. I’m in pain and it hurt so bad when I was hit. I really can’t believe this ride is still operable!

We went during the day and was going to go back in the evening as it was beautiful and we thought it would be great to see it with the coaster lights on however, the rain had other ideas. Must do while in Branson we will be going back for the night run some time in the future.
