"Great Tour"

I am in SFO playing while my husband works! Lucky me. Today I did the Segway tour with Devin (not Brandon) and it was the perfect way to do a tour solo. I had never ridden a Segway before, but they were so careful with their training that I had no problem at all. It was a beautiful day and Devin was a great guide through the park. Gotta like a guy who doesn’t take himself too seriously. Also, I messed ip my booking days (came a day early) and they happily switched the time for me. All and all a really great experience !

"Fantastic experience with Nic!"

We were lucky that it was just the two of us on the trip (mother and 15 year old daughter) and we had Nic as our guide. She is the most amazingly funny, entertaining, knowledgeable and awesome guide you can find! She had so many funny stories to share and at the same time she was so attentive to our needs. I was a little bit uncomfortable going down Lombard street at first but she made me feel I was being looked after the whole time. Then at the end of the tour I went on the same street again and what a difference! Nic was also really professional at the same time - I asked her a question which she didn't know the answer to and during our break she actually looked up the information to make sure I got my answer. It may seem like a small thing but it shows how much she cares about doing a good job.

After doing a Segway tour in Barcelona a couple of years ago, I got addicted to it and was looking forward to another thrilling experience. This short tour at Fisherman's Wharf did not disappoint. The guide was excellent and spent a good 15-20 minutes on training and kept us engaged with his informative stories during the tour.

Are there physical limitations for who can and cannot ride a Segway?
We offer a 45-50 minute training session for all Segway tour guests. However, riding and navigating a Segway is not an ideal situation for individuals with or a history of mobility issues.

All guests who wish to participate in the tour must be able to easily and quickly step on and off without assistance. This movement is similar to ascending and descending stairs without the use of a handrail.

Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in the tour due to the risk of falling when navigating the Segway. Due to the same risk, individuals above the age of 70 are not allowed to participate.

In an effort to ensure all guests are safe throughout the entire tour experience, we require that all guests must be age 12 or older and weigh at least 100 lbs.

I need to cancel my reservation. What is the process for doing so?
Any cancellations made by the listed cancellation date will receive a FULL REFUND with absolutely NO CANCELLATION FEES. Any reservations past the cancellation date cannot be changed or canceled.

All tours run in light rain, fog, or shine. In the case that a tour is canceled due to extreme weather, you will be given the opportunity to join a future tour.

What time is my tour?
You will set your tour time when making your reservation.

Is parking available?
No. There are no onsite parking facilities available. It is recommended that guests park at one of the many lots and garages nearby or utilize public transportation.

What should I wear for the tour?
Closed-toed shoes are required for tour participation. Wearing an extra layer such as a light jacket is ideal for the San Francisco weather.

Will I be taught how to ride a Segway?
Yes. All riders are thoroughly trained prior to the tour. Training instruction includes safe Segway operation, emergency stops, a safety cone course, and the “Share the Road” policy overview. Every rider is required to wear a helmet and wear a bright safety vest.
