"My Welk Resort stay"
November 2021
Went to Branson to see Daniel O'Donnell. Thank you Welk for bringing him back. Resort was clean and the employees very helpful. They responded quickly to a plumbing problem in our room. Their restaurant was reasonably priced and buffet style so there was an abundance of food. Snacks and drinks inside the resort lobby were overpriced. I paid over $7 for a soda and a water. Gift shop had lots of interesting stuff...half priced last day of open for the season but not otherwise.

Tip: The Branson resort was not as activity filled as the other locations. There was mini- golf...just a small area. Pool was close but in fairness it was November. I think hotel needs some upgrade...new carpet and some plumbing work. The did recommend a great car service...Ambassador Car Service 913-579-4938.

"Christmas Getaway"
January 2020
The hotel and front desk staff were wonderful. The activities staff...not so wonderful. We attended several scheduled events only to find that the person in charge of the event made a decision not to have the event. We were told things like there was too many kids. I thought the reason to offer the event was to draw the kids to it. In the game room we asked for controllers for the video games the attendant half way pointed and said look over there. There was no controllers and all the board games had missing pieces. We love the Welks and have always loved taking our Christmas break trip there. This time I left a little disappointed. The breakfast buffet never disappoints!!

Tip: Not a huge water park but good for younger kids. Take money when you head to the splashatorium

"Noisy"
August 2019
To start with the beds are not queen size they are an oversized full. The noise above are room every night was like a Hurd if elephants till 1 or 2 am. But on a good note it was a very nice place for kids. The pool and slide was very nice. My granddaughter loved the activities at the pool but please make sure you take plenty of money with you because everything will cost you. The prices could be a little lower for the activities but still fun for the kids. The room we stayed in was not very clean the carpet was very worn and old.

"Good for children"
June 2019
Although it would be a good place for kids, the employees tended to not be so friendly, the rooms had a moldy smell and mold could be seen in the bathrooms. I had two different rooms on two different floors and both had the same problems

"Sadly disappointed"
December 2018
Although the staff was friendly and professional, I was sadly disappointed in the accommodations. The rooms were at best, mediocre. Not what I would expect after reading the descriptions on the Welk website and paying their rates. Even more frustrating was not having any hot water for a shower! After Letting the water “run until the water gets hot”, as told to do so by a gentleman at the front desk, an hour later the water was still cold and I no longer had the time to shower before our reserved dinner show. Needless to say, we won’t be back!

"Excellent Adventure!!!"
August 2018
This was my first time planning my family vacation. Everything worked perfectly! We had no issues at all. We got there, checked in, and they put us in a room right next to my aunt who was just passing through. The rooms were a tad on the smaller side, but who really spends a lot time in their room anyway? There is so much to do at the hotel! There is a list of events everywhere to make sure you don't miss a thing. The Splashatorium is pretty awesome, even for us adults! There is a smaller pool on the backside of the hotel too, which was usually less crowded and great for family wading. The rooms were clean, however, the beds weren't the most comfortable, but we all know nothing compares to our own! The breakfast buffet is great! Definitely worth the cost. Fill up early and spend less later! I would totally recommend this resort and we will stay there again for sure! P.S. If address the concierge regarding the timeshare mumbo jumbo upfront, they won't bother you again ;)

"Great experience!!"
July 2018
We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the set up. They have activities lined up all day so even if you don't have plans you can still have fun there. My kids as well as my husband and I loved the splashatorium. The staff was super friendly and always helpful.
