"Just OK"

Our room could have been cleaner. There was a clump of hair in the bathtub and stains on the comforter. The people above sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. Our light fixtures rattled and the walls shook every time the above room took a step. Called the front desk...they were not helpful.
Nice view, lots of room, better than a cramped hotel room
Loud, noisy, not clean, called us early to try and push a timeshare presentation.

"Incredible room"
November 2018
our Condo we stayed in was absolutely incredible Our only complaint about the room is the lack of hot water, you can not run anything for more than 10 minutes without getting freezing water. Our resort had just about everything closed when we went down including their food store, and their “ winter wonder land “ never seemed to be fully up and running the only thing we could experience upon the resort was mini golfing. Their age restrictions of having to be 25 if you are not married is a bit ridiculous. However the room quality and pricing take over any bad experiences you may have.

"A nice family resort"

We really enjoyed our stay at Still Waters Resort! My daughter and I stayed there with a 5 year old and a 3 year old. The resort has plenty of family friendly activities for the kids! The swimming pools are lovely (but the water was freezing in mid-May!) and the water slides were great fun for the 5 year old. We played putt-putt, and the kids enjoyed the playground area and the basketball court. We weren't able to take advantage of the lake amenities, so I can't speak to those. Our room was just fine. We got a double queen with the small kitchenette. We had a full size frig, microwave, and an adequately stocked set of dishes, glasses and silverware. There was a 2 burner cooktop that we never used. It was great for traveling with small children. We did have a slight problem with the toilet not flushing the first night, but maintenance came and fixed it for us. Now for the downsides: we were upstairs and there were no elevators. If you can't do stairs, be sure and request a room downstairs. Also the key cards consistently stopped working every day! We had to go back to the front desk and get them fixed or new key cards at least once a day. Thankfully we both had a key card, and at least one of our cards worked each time we needed it, but it was frustrating. The food prices at the little store and two eating establishments were VERY high. Our first night there, I bought a loaf of bread and two little jugs of milk for breakfast the next day. The cost was $9.50! The food from the food truck (taco place--can't think of the name) was very mediocre and very expensive. Two taco plates and two corndogs/fries for the kids was over $50. The pizza, wings and salad were quite decent and the best bargain, price-wise, on the property. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but I can't really give it 5 stars. It's a good place to stay with your family. You just need to be aware of the food prices and plan ahead if you have folks who have problems with stairs.

We have been there before and everything was so nice and we enjoyed our stay immensely and even gave the time share some consideration. Everyone was so nice and we had the time share tour and all. This time we decided to opt out of the talk to see if it was really what we wanted. The front desk was not so nice this time around. The person at the front desk was not very accommodating but abrupt, rather rude and made you feel rushed and unimportant. We got to the room and our toilet overflowed by flushing a tissue. Our first day there my husband unfortunately got sick and we had to shorten our stay. We were told we can leave anytime but still had to pay for the room..what? I never had to pay for a room I didn't use before!! Not even a comp for our next stay??? No. Well this is our last time there and I guess we will look for a time share somewhere else. I think the only time you are treated well from the office is when you buy into the whole pressure of time share.

It may say 5/5 but I would give Still Waters a full 10/10! My husband and I made a small trip here last August and were taken by complete surprise by this off the beaten path resort located in Branson West. We knew immediately that we wanted to come back and signed up for their membership program to ensure we could do that. Fast forward to this May, we booked ourselves into a small studio for a little weekend getaway over mother’s day. Beth was our concierge, who was friendly and joking with us, made check in a breeze. She even set us up to meet with our Vacation representative, Jeff the following day. Once we got to our room we had a small hick-up with the bathroom toilet, but they moved us to a two bedroom unit for the remainder of our stay at no additional cost. We had a dock side lake view from our balcony. A full kitchen, living room, even a washer and dryer in the unit. The master bath is my favorite by far. Full length sink and vanity area, large shower, and the best of the best, the two person jacuzzi tub. Now, I have to say that as far as the resort goes, Jeff is my favorite part about coming. When we walked in for our meeting, he remembered us immediately. Not just our names but where we said we worked, that we were buying a house, and that we love Marvel. During our time with Jeff, we got to see the upgrades their making to the Endangered Rainforest addition that’s coming next year and catch up on what’s happened since our last stay. Jeff was able to work with us so we could upgrade our membership from a 4 day stay yearly to a full weeklong stay along with a greater timespan that we can choose from to come. All together, we’ve had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back with family next year to go try out their free lake inclusions.

"Not worth the price. Beach, bedding, friendliness - not up to standards"

We rented a 2 BR overlooking lake "swimming beach". Room was nice inside, but the beach (right AGAINST the marina) was terrible... tiny, crowded, filled with paddle board users, and generally not maintained. Lots of dirt and rocks. The pool areas are not nearly as nice or large as depicted in the photos or artist rendition. Pool for the teenagers is shallow and way too cramped. Staff in the lobby not friendly at all for the most part. They advertise a shuttle to Silver Dollar, but it is a public shuttle that they would not help us call and we had to try to figure out the ap ourself. After standing around at shuttle spot, we finally just gave up and took our car. What I liked the least was that beds were not triple sheeted leaving ratty blankets that are not washed after each guest against your face. I had to pull sheets from hide-a-bed and fold a sheet between me and the top of the blanket - yuck! I'm used to white fresh washed comforter with triple sheeted bedding at Holiday Inn Express. For the price, I expected better.

Everything was perfect. We had a 3 bedroom lakefront condo for a family of 9. It was amazing. Check in was quick and painless. It’s Branson so they did try to sale a timeshare but were not pushy and accepted our no thanks with a smile. Our first night there we cooked dinner and our can opener did not work it wasn’t 5 minutes before they were knocking with a new one. The kids had a great time with the playground and game room. It was cold and rainy most of the week so we didn’t use the pool although it was gorgeous. The gas grills were perfect for our cook out. Check out was simple and easy. We will be back next year.
