From age 5 till when I was 18 we would go to Six Flags great America once a year. I haven’t been there in probably 20 years, but I decided this year that we wanted to start a tradition with the kids. We went on Labor Day weekend. There was four of us and at the time, it seemed like a good deal to buy the season pass rather than just a single day pass as we sat in our first line for over an hour and a half. I decided to spend the money for a flash pass once again looking at the flash flash we made the decision to buy the season flash pass. overall, it was a pretty good experience. Yes, the parks a little dated, but there is a lot of roller coasters that are awesome. Our kids are young, but they like the roller coasters and the thrill rides.. This last week we decided to visit Six Flags during the fright fest we went on Saturday. We plan to take advantage of the season pass, and the flash pass. We went on Saturday and we got in line at about quarter after 11. It took over an hour and a half as we waited in line just to get through the front gates. The staff at Six Flags needs to figure this out continuously in lines and really just didn’t care about people that were being patient and waiting, this Saturday was not only the fright fest, but it was also also Oktoberfest and then it also had the kids boo fest. The second problem that we faced was that there were so many people in the park that cell service was not strong and even the Six Flags Wi-Fi wasn’t good probably because there’s so many people trying to use it and if you know anything about it is a website that relies on the Internet so there was a lot of people complaining that they couldn’t make the reservations on the flash pass because both Wi-Fi and cell service were struggling to keep up with demand. this isn’t a reflection of Six Flags, but more of a reflection of today’s people in society but when you have that many people together and nobody is patient and being polite, they’re all budding in line and talking is not appropriate makes for a bad experience. Overall, I’d like to see Six Flags figure out some of the problems that I’ve mentioned. Feel it would improve the experience. If the experience stays the same as we experienced I don’t think I would go back on fright fest again.

This place is gross..many rides down..and a shell of what it used to be..went in October and the Octoberfest was not open at all despite being advertised as open …crowd was very seedy.i was warned punks and gang bangers hang out there at night (probably because the tickets are so cheap)..there was no life or energy to the place..the workers (especially on the race cars)seemed so annoyed to be there…not one cast member around..no trolleys..lines way too long because they have so few roller coasters..no shoes..no trains at all..no parades…no nothing…it was sad to see how it has deteriorated..go to Disney. Pristine and much better crowd.

"Too long of lines to be worth the extra pass"

Fright Fest is not worth the haunted house pass $. Too many people line jumping. We were here from 11-9pm. Got into one haunted house bc large groups of rude Karens think that their time is more valuable. The park is fun but the extra wrist band is not worth the $40. Maybe if security did their job instead of just warning people for line jumping.
