My 8 year old grandson liked the other Legoland he's been to better. My 2 yr granddaughter like the play area & jungle area. We were fortunate that is wasn't busy at all on a Friday afternoon & we had gotten bogo tickets otherwise would had been too expensive. The kids meal at the food court was worth it but other food was not. Additional $6 charge for 4D ride (not movie). Seems dated and kinda messy with small legos all over the build areas. All in all if this is your only option its ok.

To begin with grandson, age 4 had fun here. I felt it was too expensive for what you got. There were 2 rides and a 4D movie, some stations to build with blocks. His favorite parts were the play area which was nice, although crowded and where you could build and race your own car. We spent a couple of hours here and quite a bit of money.

Our first time there- with a 2 and 4 year old. Ugh we went during the week and got there to see 5 school buses in the parking lot. When we bought tickets online it said “off peak hours” and it was beyond crowded. The manager told us it was busy like a weekend- well that was specifically why we didn’t go on a weekend! The kids were wild and not being watched and out of control on the playground area. Like 10 year olds throwing bricks and acting so obnoxious. The lines were super long and it was not a fun experience. We did complain and received comped tickets to come back. We will use those and hope to have a better experience. If they had not apologized and given us free tickets, we would not be going back. It is very expensive for what it is and our experience did not match the price tag at all. Super disappointing. They need to have some sort of warning online when it’s a busy field trip day. And also- parents/chaperones need to watch their kids there!!

"This was not what I expected"

Well, it is Legoland Discovery, but really, a store at Woodfield Mall. Yes, granted they do have a short 4d movie, 2 small rides, a small tree house play area and different areas to build. The VR is extra money and should be part of the experience, It took about an hour and a half to get through the whole thing. I guess I expected more for the money. I would not take anyone over the age of 9.

Lots to do for all ages. We could of spent the entire day there. Prices were greasy especially with a groupon discount. The little food area wasn’t bad, would probably have spent more and stayed longer if there were more food options.
