It was not very clean. And kinda janky. Our room had wall patches but no paint. And someone had a fun nigh in 218, because confetti was still everywhere. Mildew in bathroom. Bad repairs. Also probably the literal worst breakfast with no protein options, unless the sausage gravy counts. Also don't get the bagels.

Charming place to stay! Rooms were a bit dated but was still very clean and very comfortable! Staff were super nice! Location was amazing! Everything you could possibly want or need was within blocks! Ichiban steakhouse next door was horrible and do not recommend!

We were in Chicago for my son’s graduation from Navy bootcamp. We booked a different hotel for the trip originally. That hotel did not have the accommodations we requested. We stayed at that hotel the first night while trying to find other accommodations for the remaining 2 nights. We found Country Inn & Suites by Radisson and couldn’t have been more happy with the change. They were so kind to let us check in early after my son’s graduation - even without an early check in fee. The hotel smelled wonderful and clean. Rooms were nice - and again clean and smelled wonderful. Free breakfast was pretty good. Easy to get extra towels needed. It was under a bit of construction but you wouldn’t never know it. The owners did a wonderful job of making the stay pleasant. For the price this was an amazing experience! Highly recommend if you are going to Navy graduation.

The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. Also the linens/towels smelled amazing!! Staff was very friendly. Great breakfast too...lots to choose from. We would definitely stay here again when we're in town. The price was unbeatable!

"They’re infested with cockroaches."

If you know anything about cockroaches, you know it’s not likely to see one running about in the middle of the day. So while they’re infested, most people might not notice. When we first arrived, despite the place being run down, my biggest complaint was the strong chemical cleaning smells. We only got the hotel so we had a place to lay our heads after the concert we were attending. Anyways, so we check in, all is well. When we get back to the hotel at around 1am after our concert, I go to use the bathroom and spot 10 or more German cockroach nymphs. As someone who’s never dealt with roaches before I was absolutely HORRIFIED. The front desk clerk was clearly aware of the issue and just offered us another room. We get to the new room and while I don’t find any roaches in the bathroom, we find one in the light fixture. At this point there’s no way we’re staying. We left despite being refused a refund. I’d rather waste $118 than bring home bed bugs. Do not stay here unless you want to bring cockroaches home. Picture attached is the picture I took and the google ID results that followed.
