-great location. -many places to eat ! Great sports bar across from the highway . Olive Garden across the way . Country food across the way . -pool but too many kids for me to go in . Ha - not a 5 star hotel but very clean and great for passing through . - you will see lots of navy personnel. - rooms were great and have no complains . - no noise at all . -service was great (I called at 7 am to see if I can check in at 9 am for early check in . They had no issue and it was a 40$ charge . Upon arrival they did not want to charge me . ) I will be back again when my family comes so we can go to great wolf lodge .

I wouldn’t dare recommend this hotel, they will take your deposit with their own made up lies. They told me i had a “ party “ when i well indeed did not have one. It was just me, my husband and my daughter. I don't even live in town, we was on vacation. Staff are liars. I should have known with the low start rate this piece of s*** has. Never again will i ever stay here.

Stayed here for our sons bootcamp graduation. Paid with debit card and we had a hold which is normal, called about seeing when the hold would be returned and they told us it wouldn't because our room smelt of smoke and said we smoke in it. We both do not smoke at all, were made to feel like we were lying as well. They wont return our calls, and when we left the bottom floor hallway smelt of pot. Do not stay here.

I always have my guys stay at La Quinta since January when they travel for work to Gurnee. The last time they stayed in September on their last day one of them found a bed bug on the bed. La Quinta agreed to refund the last day of their stay for the incontinence. I had to call several times between La Quinta front desk and booking.com for credit for almost a month until finally i was refunded. Even though the guys experience such an experience with the bed bug they still wanted to stay there. So I booked them another stay of 6days. Upon checking in the front desk person claimed booking.com had cancel my stay. I got on the phone with booking.com to find out they had not cancel anything and it was La Quinta who was refusing to accommodate us, but was playing dumb not answering booking.coms calls nor emails. Worst experience ever!

A clean and friendly place! Beds and pillows were comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by that. Usually it’s one or the other or not at all. The only downside was the non smart TV with a basic remote of up/ down and volume buttons. I would’ve like to been able to pull up a menu list for programming rather than just maneuver the control up and down. I brought a long my iPad so no real biggie. Breakfast was typical items with the exception of no fresh fruit. That canned fruit was horrible. I would recommend and stay there again.
