"Shows were Excellent"
January 2020
You're kind of busy running from show to show to make sure you get a good seat.
Do NOT buy the Reservations. Unless you get there 30-45 min early, they get full quick. All the other seats were just fine. So we wasted $20 there.
The All Day Food was worth it. The problem is you're running to shows so we only got to eat 3 times instead of our original plan of 4 or 5 times. We ate right at opening, then lunch somewhere then end of day. We tried to get in 1 more but lines were too long and we would have missed shows.

The shows will have you ooooing, ahhhhing and laughing. They were all great!

Went on the second weekend of SeaWorld’s reopening since the shut down, and had a great time! They’re currently only open Fri-Sun and the only way to enter is by purchasing the Zoo Days ticket. It’s a food and drink event, where there’s multiple eateries and bars throughout the park. Adults are $75, kids are $65 (3 under are free) and each lanyard comes with 6 punches. Masks are required of course, there’s hand sanitizing stations everywhere, and distancing markers are in place. The staff was always wiping things down. I think it was good we visited close to the reopening as I think it was pretty slow, never had to wait in lines for food and the shows never lacked seating. I would say we got our moneys worth even with the rides not open. The food was ok, from the options we chose the fried chicken sandwich, and bbq pizza were the best. I think you can get the most out of your 6 items if you’re a drinker. There’s craft beers, frozen margarita & piña coladas, wine, and even White Claws. My biggest gripe about the food & drinks was not having any drink options for kids besides soda, water bottles, and milk cartons. They needed some juice boxes or Capri Suns for sure. Grateful to finally have visited a SoCal theme park even if the rides were closed. My kids had a great time. They got to feed the seals, pet sharks, and see the shows I grew up watching.

I just wanted to say that I was super impressed by your employee Jose who was working in Dolphin Stadium yesterday. His job was to enforce the social distancing protocols, and he is doing an incredible job. I was blown away by how rude people were to him and how groups of people would continue to try and sit in the no seating areas over and over again Immediately after watching him move the previous group to another area. Jose never gave up and never lost his cool. I work in health care and understand the importance of Sea Worlds Covid protocols. It is people like Jose that are going to help us beat this thing. I spoke to him after the show and tried to give him $20 for the sole reason that I don’t think anyone can get paid enough to deal with the rude people that he must face all day, but he graciously refused to take it. I really hope your management team recognizes him. My suggestion to make his job a little easier would be to rope off the closed rows or apply larger stickers to the area to make it more obvious so that it is harder for people to try and sit in them. It is too easy for people to feign ignorance regarding the current stickers. We had an awesome day at Sea World as always, I am so happy that your are able to open, and appreciate all of the steps that you have taken to keep your guests, animals and staff as safe as possible during this pandemic.

Want people to beware about the Zoo days special event Sea World has for the month of September. Posted at limited capicity, in reality means that more than half the park is blocked off and everyone is shuffled into the remaining area. You have to wait in line for over an hour for each lanyard punch, when the food is cafeteria style at best. Save your money. Not worth the price or frustration

"The Amazing Orca's"

If you had told PETA where to stick it and no gotten rid of the amazing Orca's you had rescued, you wouldn't be hurting for money! First the Whales and then what's next! SeaWorld has always done so much for the Aquatic World and saved many species, including major efforts for the Orca's. Everyone we talk to wish you had stayed strong and kept the whales and their show which was Sea Worlds major attraction. I only hope all of your incredible research and efforts to save animals of our amazing planet were not lost for the un-educated chaos groups like PETA. The loss of the Orca's was a sad day. We all miss them! Sincerely Stephenie
