My partner and I stayed at this hotel for MLK Weekend, and were very pleased! The location is excellent, as the hotel is situated right between downtown SD and the beaches, making visiting each of those places during our short trip super convenient. It is convenient to great restaurants as well. We really appreciated the refreshed room we were provided, even if it was on the smaller side of the rooms available (as evidenced by the room sizes visible on the fire escape plans posted in the room). Our room was in building 'D', which was secluded from the main collection of hotel buildings but did offer gated parking, which was a perk! We would gladly stay here again on our next trip out to San Diego from the east coast.

Bed is super comfy. Arrived early morning and was assigned a room. Key did not open room due to keypad not being reprogrammed from previous occupants. Frank was quick to resolve the issue and reassigned a room for us to get quickly situated and comfortable. Great customer service. Room is nice and has some updated furnishings

I’ve stayed there twice. The first time a few years ago was good. The last time was disgusting. The first room we got was dirty and were given a different room. The second room had ants. You get what you pay for. I will never stay there again.
