"Not what we expected."
June 2019
The photos showed the hotel to be much nicer than it was. We had to pay for parking and give them a $50 deposit. That was a first for us and we have stayed in many hotels. Everything was in working order but very outdated. The air conditioner wouldn't come on. Tried to call the desk several times and it was busy. Finally figured out it had tripped, had to reset. The sheets on one of the beds was not even tucked in, hanging down to the floor. How do you miss that? I hope they were clean. We chose Wyndham because of their reputation, not this one! The staff was not very friendly, acted like we should be happy they were there to help us. No smiles and the lady that checked us out never even looked up at us. We had a 15 passenger van and no place to park at check in. They asked us to leave the check in area but wouldn't tell us where we could park. I can say we will not stay at that Wyndham again. Tripster made it easy for us to find and very easy to make reservations. Unfortunately we got what we paid for!!

"Pretty disappointed"

Let's say we only chose this hotel because we wanted to save some money, well you pay for what you get. The pictures on their website are very far from what the hotel really looks like, the service is awful and the carpet in the rooms is disgustingly dirty. Not planning on ever coming back.

"The worst hotel stay of my life. I am a world traveler."
June 2019
You will see a hotel that runs by the employees and no manager around. No one cares. Your visit is taken as granted. I was humiliated by three of the employees when I asked for help fixing my AC to get some air in the room. When I asked for the manager I was told he woul not be around for four days. No AC, widows were sealed intentionally, bed sheet was bloody and dirty. Bathroom was used. Oh, our room key did not work. The lock was not working until they showed us a work around to open our room. Overall a miserable stay. They offered us punt that I reject. I asked for my money back.

"Not like other Wyndham places I sayed in."

The first room they put us in wasn't cleaned, so they moved us into that was. I actually stayed in better ones then this one. It was all right for a motel stay, but not a Wyndham I was expecting.

The room had a bad odor, carpets were nasty, parking is tight, definitely needs a remodel. Friendly front desk person, only good thing about staying there.

"Very poor quality and bad customer service"
July 2018
It was my understanding that I had reserved a room with bunk beds. At checking in they were very unhelpful and unconcerned about my needs. I went to talked to them in 3 different occasions, in 3 different dates about getting what I paid for. The last date I was there, I talk to Hispanic man seem like the manager and he replied by asking me. How many is there in your party. To which I said five, with a tone of voice he reply; your room only allows 4. To wish I didn't reply because I was being attacked. After the first night we spent there, after we came back from our trip. The room smelled like old humidity and it was humid. I asked to be moved to another room. to which, they say there is no more rooms available and that it is probably my fault cuz I left the AC on. Our towels were replaced with dirty towels. And there was cockroaches in there on the second day. This place has very bad customer service poor room service and low-quality rooms. I will never recommend wyndam.

"Bad part of San Diego"
July 2018
Booked this trip for 3 Nights with tickets to San Diego Zoo and Sea World, Hotel was very Run Down, Dirty, Stinky, Room was very smelly, we are lucky our room did not have roaches as others have posted. A/C worked but room overall was dirty and depressing. Went to the Zoo and told myself it was what you do when you are on vacation that matters, Room is just for recooperating. But 2nd night, The people above us had a kid doing laps and running back and forth really loudly, could not sleep at all, we left San Diego and cancelled our Sea World trip because we wanted to get out of there badly. Went back to Bishop Ca and stayed in a nice Hotel for the rest of our trip. Please, do not stay here if sleep and cleanliness is important.

This hotel was disgusting. We did not feel safe. We left as soon as possible. I'm shocked Wyndham allows this property to have their name. This location is far below 3 stars. If I had been alone, I would not have stayed. As it was, I made sure all of our belongings were off the ground and neither of us showered. The staff was very welcoming and it was nice to have a strong security guard next to the desk (our first warning). Do not stay here!

"Good staff but roaches."

Stayed here for a wedding. The staff was courteous and friendly. The property was nothing special but it was the cheapest in the area. Night two, I got back from a wedding and discovered roaches in the bedroom and bathroom. Too late to go anywhere else. Would not stay here again until they fumigate and clean up the property a bit. Minus 5 stars for the roaches. Plus 1 star for the staff. 1/5

I was a little apprehensive when I booked this hotel. It was my intention to go to Seaworld, and this hotel was available at a reasonable price and was located near Seaworld. Some of the reviews had mentioned that the rooms were not in good condition, but I didn’t find any major issues with our room. We requested a first floor room and checked in late and our first floor room was available. While they did try to charge us a $14 per day parking charge, I mentioned our reservation had stated that parking was free. The front desk attendant told me that we would not be charged on check out. The room had good AC, comfortable beds, and was clean and neat. I did notice in the bathroom that the wall near the floor had a little water damage and needed repair, but it was minor. The room did have a musty smell, but once we turned on the AC that went away. Overall the hotel was very good. No free breakfast but the wifi was very good. So overall this busy tourist hotel was better than expected. I’ve stayed at much much worse. The hotel was quiet and we got a good night’s sleep. Not bad for the price!

This Wyndham property looks like a Motel 6 property with a different sign. The reception area looked amazing. But when u get to the room the carpet was old. The linen and pillows looked old. The bathroom was dirty with dirt packed in the corners of the walls. The towels in the bathroom had stains on them. Random hair were found on the floor of the bathroom.

"Great Customer Service! Disgusting Rooms! Horrible breakfast."

Reviewed October 20, 2019 NEW
The staff is great but the rooms were gross. We tried 2 rooms before we settled. The sheets seemed like they were scotch guarded or something...they had a very strange texture. The room smelled like piss and there was dirt eeverywhere. The carpets felt were or coated with something. Furniture chewed up by pets and split milk all over the cabinet with the fridge. Lamp covered in rust and something that splattered all over the shade. They gave me a discount which was nice but I would have rather a clean hotel. I saw they were re doing some rooms but the 2 we looked at were disgusted. Pictures online were not accurate. Hope they clean it up because it was a great location for the concert we saw at the Pechanga San Diego Arena...it was right across the street.
