"Dreams of a life time"
May 2018
Everyone goes through life with a dream. Some larger than others, some simpler than others. My wife's dream of 60 years was to interact with a dolphin. Sea Life Park fulfilled this dream.
When we entered the bus for the ride to the park, the driver was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go out of his way to assist you. You enter the well kept park and are greeted by smiling staff. The walks are easy for older people to transit which we appreciated. The staff was on a tight schedule and this showed in how things were handled but the Dolphin was the sweetest I have ever seen. She was so gentle with her interactions with humans. For my wife her moment with the dolphin was a spiritual moment. The feeling of love from this animal brought peace to her soul and this is a memory that will remain for life.
The assembly line might be reconsidered and for the price of the experience, the Picture should be complementary.

"Dolphin Encounter"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

We used Argo awahoo premium option for the dolphin encounter and we paid an upgrade to swim with the dolphins. For the small amount of time we actually spent interacting with the dolphin, it was great, but thankfully I didn't have to pay full price. As for the rest of the park, I wouldn't pay admission to come. It wasn't worth it. We had also done a swim with dolphins in Mexico and the amount of time swimming with the dolphin and interacting was comparable.

"Dolphin experience total ripoff"

DO NOT COME HERE. This park is a complete and total rip off. My friend and I did the dolphin experience, which was valued at $140 each, and they had the AUDACITY to tell us we weren't allowed to take our own photos and that they were going to charge us $60 to take three lame photos of us. The photos weren't even good, and they don't even provide you with digital copies. Seriously, how dare you try to charge people so much for photos when you're already charging a lot of money for the experience itself. Absolutely disgusted at how commercialized this place is. We really wanted our pictures, but no way were we going to pay $120 for them.

"Don’t Waste your Money on this Place "

Ok so this place should be closed as it is a joke to me. I have never seen an attraction park be so dead in the amount of people present and the lack of animals on site. If you aren’t going to do any interactive activities such as swimming with dolphins, skip it. I will not support Sea Life Park. I wanted to swim with the dolphins in the wild but my daughter was scared. This was our second option. I was under the impression that we would be going to swim with them by booking. BUT NO. They have 2 groups of ten in the pool, all at the same time. At the price they charge for the dolphins swim, I was expecting more a hands down on-hand session with the dolphins. You get 45 minutes in the water with them but the actual time you interact with the dolphins is between 4-6 minutes. If you have the chance to do this somewhere else, please do. Do not book here. On top of this, the shuttle picks you up early in the morning but doesn’t return until 2:00 PM. Our swim was at 10:15. We were done the swim, change, go around the park and get our pictures by noon. We were done everything in two hours. It is far and secluded without any taxi around. The lady at the gate was also rude when I inquired about getting a taxi. Luckily there was a bus to Waikiki for under 6$ for the two of us. Took about 20 minutes longer than a taxi but who knows how long it would of taken the taxi to get there in the first place. Avoid it!

"Dolphin adventure great - photo rip off leaves bad aftertaste"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

We visited for swim with dolphins adventure. The kids enjoyed the experience - the interaction with the dolphins was exhilarating. Overall a 4.5 stars for that portion. Here are the reasons why the overall review is 3 stars only: 1 - the price is too high. Almost $200 pp. other than the dolphins and the bird cage the park is like a very small zoo with very limited list of activities and exhibitions. 2 - the showering area for visitors after the swim is dingy - worse than public showers on a beach - and there is no hot water. On a cloudy/breezy day it is an uncomfortable experience. You’d think for the price they could fix the area ( the bathrooms up in the park are spotless clean, strange that the area for high ticket experience is so run down) 3- the price of the photos. We received a ticket for complimentary fin ride photo included in our package. When we received the photos the shots with the dolphin kiss were good, but the ones of the fin rides were horrible. There are two possible reasons - their photographer is an amateur who can’t use the motion setting to capture good shots, or they did this on purpose to get you to purchase the photos at $45/photo... I tend to think it’s the second reason because when I asked to use the complimentary ticket for another photo - ride on the belly of the dolphin- they refused. I can’t imagine the reason for the rigidity I’d the policy if not for price gauging ... So, overall, the experience with the photos left a bad aftertaste. I will not go back...
