"Waikiki as you would expect"

Friendly staff, excellent location, enticing breakfast, comfortable room and hotel facilities. Would love to have stayed longer and enjoy more of what Hawaii has to offer, both in Waikiki, Honolulu and beyond. The hotel is just as good for solo travellers as it is for family and friends. Hopefully one day I will get the opportunity to return and enjoy much more.

A good location with relatively reasonable price. Room clean and staff helpful. The free breakfast uses disposable everything so the amount of waste is incredible which is surprising for an island paradise. The breakfast was cold with the exception of dilute porridge and hard boiled eggs.

Excellent hotel service and outstanding staff. Sherrie at the reservation department and Farrah at the front desk were exceptional. They were professional and very concerned that my family and I received accommodations that supported our family needs during our 10 day stay. Waikiki Resort Hotel location in Waikiki, the very competitive price, outstanding customer service makes it an idea place for a family to vacation and relax. I highly recommend Waikiki Resort Hotel for your stay in Hawaii.

"Constructive Feedback"

This was only a stay-cation for my birthday since we bbq’ed at my uncle’s house in town. We live in Ewa. We wanted a cheap hotel that was comfortable for the one night with our kids. Check in started of rough with a large group checking in. We waited for more than an hour to get to counter. Honestly, our check in experience was not too pleasant even without the long wait in line. Associate who checked us in was not pleasant and took at least 20 minutes to check us in. My wife and I both worked for resort in Waikiki (where we met). The length of the check in was unnecessary after waiting so long. To top it off, no Aloha. Where we worked we would check in 100+ people in an hour and I always made sure associates and guest services were friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. $300 for ka ma aina rate, silly. The room was not the problem, we wanted something cheap and close to my uncles. $300 wasn’t cheap but I know how prices get. Wish being local actually meant getting a cheaper rate. Tried calling front desk twice for towels/pillows and after second attempt (50 seconds) someone finally answered. All in all this little visit could have easily been a great experience with just some of the basic service expectations being met. By basic I mean the bare minimum that any property should embody and provide for their guests. Resort charges are for resorts. Why this is called or considered a resort is beyond me. The word resort is being used very loosely and is definitely deceiving. I hope this hotel is able to take this feedback and turn it into a positive improvement. As for us, we will not be visiting or recommending this hotel again.

"Comfortable hotel"

We had a comfortable king room with a partial ocean view. There was a nice breakfast buffet. Wikiki Resort is an easy 1 block walk to the beach. We did not take advantage of classes, and would have liked a fitness center. The outdoor pool (unheated) was too cold for us to swim in.
