Just a two-minute walk from Waikiki Beach and Kuhio Beach Park, Waikiki Resort Hotel has an outdoor pool and terrace. Each room and suite includes a private balcony with ocean, mountain, or city views. A flat-screen cable TV, a work desk with an ergonomic chair, and tropical decor are featured in each room. A small refrigerator and coffee-making facilities are also included for convenience.

The Ilima Cafe, on-site, serves an American-style menu, featuring a breakfast buffet and sandwiches, ramen, and local specialties for lunch.

A 24-hour reception, concierge desk, and gift shop are available in the Waikiki Hotel Resort lobby. A 24-hour business center features internet access and multilingual computers (English, Japanese, and Korean). An on-site spa offers massage and beauty treatments.

October 7 - 16 2025 deluxe corner Ocean view……when we were checking in…..first room given to us was a room at other end of hotel, partial ocean view….I could see a spot of blue water,,,,when I confronted desk,,, he stated that was a Ocean view room,,BS ,,then gave us a real ocean view room,,, the one that they show in there advertisement…. Open the sliding glass door ( Noisy, noisy, ) DB monitor showed one point off of the red zone,,, Can you say Jet Engine. 4 to 5 am here comes the garbage trucks (every) morning…If you thought about sleeping with the door open, forget about it… you will have all the air conditioners noise from all the other buildings around you making more noise than you could understand,,,,, if I had known it would be that noisy I would’ve definitely stayed somewhere else,,,, The balcony was useless, unless you don’t mind a real noisy area, one block away from ocean and could not hear the sound of the ocean,,,,,we may have spent 1 hr on balcony in the 9-10 days we stayed there ……I give you Las Vegas Nevada on the strip at noon,,,,New York City downtown…. not to mention how busy and crowded Oahu is. From one end of the island to the other end. I believe if they add one more car or one more person to the island it will sink. Waikiki shows fireworks from the beach, however, fireworks went off between two high-rise hotels and we saw maybe 1/4 of the fireworks because of where they sent off at. A boat trip to view fireworks is your best option,,,,,We would travel to north shore leaving at 6-7 am, traffic jams, and no parking to be found Or very little, not to mention nothing is open at that time of the morning, they called that Hawaiian time, we may open at 8 or 9 or we may not open all , no quiet snorkeling places after 6 AM,,,,first trip to Oahu 1995,,, (LAST) TRIP TO OAHU 2025….. $$$ 1 croissant Sandwich, 1 coffee, 1 orange juice $38.00 ,,,,, $47.50 to park at hotel,,,,,, Public parking right behind hotel In tower $30.00, only 20 steps across the street,,,, a savings of $160.00 Hotel was clean, rooms were tired and dated. Housekeeping was great. Cleaned room every day and did a great job. ( Don’t forget to tip your housekeeper.) the only coffee available before 6:30 AM is the coffee they provide in your room,,, one cup coffee maker with 2 pods,,,,,, All other hotels we have stayed at would have coffee in the lobby, not this place. We went to Walmart and purchased a $18 (12 cup coffee maker.) great way to start your morning.

The Location is decent, atmosphere is ran down, rooms are basic. I wouldn't say the value was good, still pricey for older location. Rooms were clean but the light buffet area was ran down. The buffet that was included was decent, enough to fill you up. Watch for the hidden resort fee and parking fee that adds up when you think you are getting a decent price on the room.

The staff at the front desk were great. All the staff were polite professional and efficient. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. A great value for the location (close proximity to Waikiki beach). The continental breakfast was different, but good.

Good location right by the beach. Wholesome breakfast and friendly staff. My wife particularly enjoyed the sound healing and yoga classes which are offered for free by the hotel. The instructor, Julia, was super friendly.
