Just a two-minute walk from Waikiki Beach and Kuhio Beach Park, Waikiki Resort Hotel has an outdoor pool and terrace. Each room and suite includes a private balcony with ocean, mountain, or city views. A flat-screen cable TV, a work desk with an ergonomic chair, and tropical decor are featured in each room. A small refrigerator and coffee-making facilities are also included for convenience.

The Ilima Cafe, on-site, serves an American-style menu, featuring a breakfast buffet and sandwiches, ramen, and local specialties for lunch.

We just checked in today for six days with TWO rooms booked. I know bed options are not guaranteed but not looking forward in two doubles when we requested at King. We booked six months ago. Front desk was less than helpful and said we could check back tomorrow.

I booked a room when black friday sale event and gave a great chance for big discount room rate. so I satisfied with free breakfast and free parking fee. actually breakfast at ilima cafe was really nice and i could select all kind of menu without extra charge such as steak, fruit, omellet , locomoco, etc. my family really enjoyed meal every morning. only weak point of the hotel is watering power on bathroom's shower. The water pressure is really weak so it was uncomfortable. except water pressure, i will stay this hotel again due to close location to the beach and great breakfast.

This is a very old hotel, very run down. The wallpapers were peeling off, the door panes were rotting off, the carpet was dirty and the table lamp was flickering. The person at the reception was expressionless and not very welcoming. The breakfast was average, same old stuff. The swimming pool was worse an a $80 per night Holiday Inn swimming pool. The only thing good was its proximity to the beach, even though the beach view from the room was bad. I had a small view of the beach through a small open space between two buildings in the front.

I really used to enjoy this hotel as it is the fourth time I have stayed here, the location is perfect only steps away from the water. However, the prices continue to go up and the accommodations go down. I used to really love using the free DVD rental machine in the lobby but that is now gone the free breakfast that I loved is now gone instead they added a crumby gym that has a couple machines and no air conditioning. The rooms are outdated and tiny. The hot water took forever in the shower parking is close to $50 a night and the laundry machines are broke if you want a motel style stay close to the water this place is for you other than that it's nothing that special.
