This expertly-narrated 2-hour tour is an excellent way to experience the city with a 30 minute stop at Portland’s world-famous Rose Test Gardens. The tour includes the waterfront neighborhoods, city center landmarks, a scenic drive through Washington Park and Hoyt Arboretum, and Portland’s Northwest neighborhoods, including the Pearl District.

The tour includes driver guide narration with one half an hour stop at the world-famous International Rose Test Garden.

Are there restrooms at the stop and on board the trolley?

There are nice public restrooms at the Rose Test Garden stop but not on the trolley.

Is there a handicapped wheelchair lift available?

With 48 hours notice, we can provide a trolley that is equipped with a wheelchair lift. Please provide us with this notice if a wheelchair lift is required.

Are tours ever cancelled because of inclement weather or for any other reason?

Tours will not be cancelled due to rain. Tours may be cancelled if there are no reservations by 9 PM the evening before.

Where do I park in downtown Portland?

The nearest parking lot to the Benson is a City Center Parking structure just down SW Oak at 650 SW Oak Street. It is a one half of block walk to the Benson boarding point at 710 SW Broadway. The rates are $5.00 for the first hour with a maximum of $16 for the day. The most reasonable parking downtown is at the City-owned Smart Parks. The nearest Smart Park to the Benson Hotel is at 10th and SW Yamhill about 5 blocks from the Benson. The rates are $1.80 to $2.00 per hour with a $10 all day rate.
