Description

Towering emerald cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and hidden sea caves define this 6.5-hour Na Pali Coast raft adventure in Kauai. Departing from Port Allen Marina in Eleele, this small-group raft tour travels along the rugged coastline aboard a 24-foot rigid hull inflatable raft designed for agility and close coastal exploration.

Powered by twin 115 HP motors, the Coast Guard inspected vessel is operated by a licensed captain and CPR-trained crew. Navigate beneath waterfalls and into sea caves (conditions permitting). Along the way, spot playful dolphins, sea turtles, and even iconic movie filming locations along the coastline.

The adventure includes an exclusive beach landing at Nualolo Kai, an ancient Hawaiian fishing village accessible only to select permitted operators. Step ashore to explore this culturally significant site, learn the legends and history of Kauai, and snorkel in clear coastal waters. Snorkeling is weather dependent, and all gear and swim vests are provided. You should be comfortable climbing a small marine ladder to reboard the raft.

A freshly prepared breakfast, cookies, and beverages are served during the tour. This barefoot-style raft adventure embraces getting wet as part of the experience. Operating seasonally from May through October for beach landings, the route may adjust based on ocean conditions, with safety always the captain's top priority. This tour is ideal for adventurous travelers ages 7 and older who are comfortable in open ocean conditions.

"An awesome, exciting, Kauai adventure!"
May 2018
We knew we wanted to do a boat trip of the Napali Coast, but we aren’t really catamaran type people. We did one maybe 15 years ago and it was a bit boring. Found this zodiac trip and it far exceeded our expectations! Boat ride was bumpy at times and you get spayed a little by the waves, but we loved it! You sit on the edge of the boat and hold onto the ropes. They have gloves it you feel like you need them, but no one on our trip did and everyone’s hands were fine. Our 8 year old daughter didn’t have a probably holding on, but I always keep an arm behind her, just in case. Sky, our epic captain, took us in the sea caves, which we were amazing! We landed on a beach on the Na Pali Coast and Jamie gave us a tour of some historic Hawaiian sites. She’s a native Kauaian who works with a preservation society restoring the Napali Coast. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide! SO knowledgeable! Next we had a picnic lunch and then went snorkeling at the reef we landed at. That was one thing I particularly liked, that we snrokled by the shore, rather than deeper in the ocean. My husband and daughter are not comfortable in very deep water. The views of the Napali coast were gorgeous. Plenty of photo opportunities of the coast, dolphins, and sea turtles! Would definitely do this trip again! Wear lists of sunscreen, a sun shirt and make sure your hat can tie on. Otherwise, don’t bother wearing it. It will blow right off!

"Highly recommend"
September 2015
We are a family of 4 age 18 to 57- we thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. The ride on the raft was definitely exciting and not for anyone with back or neck issues. The landing on the beach was enjoyable and the snorkeling was good as well. Jake and our Captain were informative and added the aloha to the trip. We have visited Kauai many times and this will be one of our highlights for years to come.
