"Statue of liberty cruise and one added event BAD!"

paid for cruise around statue of liberty and anoher event. they changed time, departure dock. they dont even tell you what your looking at. theres several things that everyone was asking. ellis island? staten island?new jersey? whats that? no crew help, no cruise director on loudpeaker kind of thing. really felt like i didnt get anything near worth the money. Had to meet some guy to pickup the tickets to the second event we bought... at a starbucks, like meeting for a drug deal. he gave me tickets with expired dates and then we had to walk a mile, literally, to where the boat was. at pier 15. good thing we didnt have handicapped or elderly with us because they dont even tell you that from the starbucks to pier15 is a mile plus walk. wouldnt recommend this attraction.

"New Years Eve Ball."
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed January 12, 2020
Wow, we had quite the night....... Upon arriving for our VIP NYE Ball cruise we were pleased to hear staff shouting at presumably fellow VIPs to have passports ready. It was a beautiful little warm up number for the evening ahead. We found our `Private VIP Balcony seats for 2`was basically a table for 2 around the balcony with other tables for 2 and next to tables for 8. It began to dawn on us that this may not quite be the `New Years Eve Ball` that had been advertised when we went to butter our bread and found a plastic fork with which to spread the butter.. I thought this had to be a mistake but no, on looking at all the other tables a fork was obviously the implement of choice for butter spreading on the Infinity. Maybe it`s a New York thing ? We then went to try the bountiful buffet which appreared to have been heated using a candle. Trying to cut slightly warm pork loin with a plastic knife & fork was truly one of life`s culinary experiences. I thought a drink may take the edge off things and when i presented my wife with tramp strength G&T she was ready to abandon ship. It was a genuis ploy to serve revellers with hardcore measures of alcohol to take the night up a notch. Getting constantly asked to show your wristband everytime you visited the lav to show you were not a lower level pleb but a bonafied `VIP` made us feel truly special. The scibbled writing on the wristband was a classy touch by the way. The view of the firework to the Statue of Liberty was amazing but as Hornblower did not provide the fireworks or The Statue of Liberty we cannot give them credit for this. If getting screamed at on welcome, spreading butter with forks, eating tepid food on plastic plates using plastic cutlery is your thing then this is a doozy. I honestly thought my wife was going to jump overboard at one stage and risk death by attempting to swim ashore rather than endure anymore of this VIP treatment. The atmosphere was actually a good craic even if i was about the join the conga line flying past our table because i thought people were actually lining up to walk the plank If it was sold as a New Years Eve P*SS Up on a boat expectations would have been managed but to sell it as a `New Years Eve Ball Private VIP Balcony for 2` and then provide a plastic fork to spread butter as your opening gambit takes some stunning cajones!

"Small Wedding Breakfast Cruise "

We booked the “Fairytale for Less” package with Hornblower NY as we want something unique which was also value for money. Our total party number was 17 which included two small children, and we could not have been more well catered for. From the initial point of booking, Tyler took such amazing care of us, ensuring that every question was answered and we had all of the information needed. They even permitted us to provide our own table decor and Gabriel our host kindly dressed the table for us prior to our arrival on board. The food was amazing and the service impeccable, not to mention the experience of seeing Manhattan from such a unique perspective. Thank you so much for playing such a huge part in our wedding day, and more so for going above and beyond to ensure it was perfection.
