"Great location!"

Great location!! Within walking distance to almost everything! Rooms are definitely on the larger side, which was nice. Two issues we had was with the valet parking. We were told to call an hour before, however on the day we left - 12/30/25 - we were told 3 hours! Thank you Bonnie at the front desk for getting us a Lyft to get to the garage to get our car and for giving us a discount on the parking. The other issue was that our phone couldn't call down to the front desk, bell station, any of the internal lines. We kept getting a message that the call couldn't be completed. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay there.

"Trip of a lifetime in a large room right on Times Square with a great view"

I read lots of negative reviews but decided to take a chance and I’m so glad we did. Our room was on the 31st floor with a great view of the Empire State Building and slightly of the Chrysler building. The room was oversized especially for NYC. We stayed over NYE and the location was right in the middle of it. I had my rental dress shipped to the hotel and Victor went out of his way to make sure I received it (and subsequently return it). Generally speaking the furniture is slightly dated but still in good condition and the bathroom and bed were updated and clean. If you travel here during NYE, they will give you bracelets that allow you back into the hotel through NYPD barricades. Again I would highly recommend. Definitely check in or out early or later to avoid the rush.

"Hilton Honors Member Beware!: Worst check-in experience I’ve had as a Hilton Diamond member"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed December 31, 2025 NEW
Worst check-in experience I’ve had as a Hilton Diamond member I’ve stayed at Hilton properties extensively over the past decade and currently have over 900 stays as a Hilton Diamond member. Unfortunately, my recent stay at Hilton Times Square was the worst check-in experience I’ve had across the brand. Upon arrival, it took nearly two hours for the front desk to get my room key to work properly. I had to return to the desk multiple times before I was finally able to access my room. After a long travel day, this was frustrating and entirely avoidable. To make matters worse, I was assigned a room directly next to the elevator, which ran up and down constantly day and night. My Hilton profile explicitly requests a room away from elevators, a preference that has been honored at countless other Hilton properties but was ignored here. The room itself was also misrepresented. Not all rooms at this hotel promise a Times Square view, and I was careful about that when booking. Some rooms are clearly described as having a Manhattan view, while others explicitly state Times Square view. I deliberately booked the room whose description said Times Square view. The room I was given did not have a Times Square view in any practical or visual sense. When I raised this at the front desk, I was told that any direction from the hotel qualifies as a Times Square view because Times Square “surrounds” the building in a 360-degree radius. That explanation is misleading. Times Square is geographically northeast of the hotel, and my room did not face it, nor did it overlook the area most people reasonably associate with a Times Square view. The photos I have attached make this discrepancy clear. If a room is sold and priced as a Times Square view, guests should reasonably expect to see Times Square, not be given a semantic explanation after the fact. Mistakes happen, but what stood out most was the lack of accountability and problem-solving until the fifth person I talked to. The issues were treated as technicalities rather than legitimate service failures. Given Hilton’s branding, pricing, and this hotel’s flagship location, the check-in experience fell far below expectations. I hope management takes a serious look at front-desk operations, room assignment practices, and how room descriptions are marketed, because this experience does not reflect the standard Hilton typically delivers.

Hotel was nice, very close to subways and attractions. Slight delay in getting into my room, but Raquel Woods to the rescue! She was great at the front desk: kind, thoughtful, and attentive. She was a bright spot on the trip!

"Don't stay here, except the location is good and the bar is OK."

Overpriced, broken airco, mold in the bathroom, watertap loose from the wall and charging USD 650,00.. It was kind of clean, but everything looked pretty old. Only good thing was the location.
