Mai Hana Hotel - International Drive in Orlando, FL

On 2/16/26 I arrived to check in with a confirmation number for a reservation I made four months in advance. I made the reservation directly on the company website (and not a third-party discount site). At check in, I was told by the woman at the front desk that "the manager canceled it" and that the property is no longer associated with Wyndham, so "I needed to contact Wyndham". I received no advance notice of any cancellation from Mai Hana or Wyndham. Then she claimed there was no credit card on file, and that was the reason it was cancelled. I provided a credit card at booking, and even if there had been an issue, they had my phone number and email address and never contacted me to request anything or warn me the reservation was being canceled. I only learned of the cancellation when I showed up to check in. Because it was a high demand convention week, it took about three hours to find replacement lodging, no hotels were available anywhere, and because it was late at night, many did not answer. The only option I could find was about a one hour Uber ride away (40 miles), cost roughly three times my original booking, and led to about $250 in additional travel expenses. I did not sleep that first night because I was dealing with this late at night, which negatively impacted the entire trip. The front desk employee was rude and unprofessional and made it clear she was not going to help beyond repeating that it was the manager's decision. She would not escalate to someone who could fix it, would not provide a written explanation, and offered no meaningful assistance finding alternatives. Management never contacted me afterward to address it. The photos online also did not match what the property looked like in person. I would avoid this property because there is a real risk your reservation will not be honored, and you may only find out when you arrive. I will also be filing a complaint with the appropriate Florida consumer protection agencies so there is a record of how this was handled.

We visited from Jamaica in January, place is nice and close to everything Christina is the best , very polite, helpful and friendly. She displays great customer service . Thank you Christina !!! See you in July

This would have been a much higher rating if we didn’t have bugs all around the bathroom sink. Now, we did not bring it to their attention as we were only there 2 nights and did not spend anytime in the room. Did not see them anywhere else, only in the sink and counter. Breakfast was great, staff was nice. It is more of a motel as the rooms are outside. Free parking. Great area. Just would not stay again due to bugs.

CHRISTINA MARTINEZ IS THE BEST!!!! The mai hana has the best service helped us out when we needed help with my wife and two kids they are the absolute best I would stay here room was quiet room was clean Christina helped that way everything she's one of the best workers we ever come across me vacation all the time we are going to tell our family and our family is Big so they will be staying at the mayana if you have family and kids and want to stay somewhere nice as has great service and great breakfast and next to everything stay here for sure thank you we appreciate everything
