"Clean Comfortable"
April 2019
Everything was really clean and everyone was really nice! the only negative was when you turned on the air, it smelled really musty but it went away quickly. As someone with severe allergies, it was really nice to have a room that was extremely clean.

The pool was great! I wish the restaurants had more options, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The only thing I could eat for lunch were fries.

Also, the walls are veryy thin and our neighbors liked to stay up really late.

"Great communal areas in hotel"
February 2019
Hotel communal areas were up to Disney par. Pool was warm and clean. The restaurant upstairs was great and breakfast was perfect. The rooms were a little dark and shabby. Not spacious but you get what you pay for. What i was really upset about were the buses to the parks. Never on time. Even the first out in the morning at 7am was an hour late. And they don’t drop you at magic kingdom they take you to the ticketing center. So make sure you plam ample time if you want to make those magic hours.

Perfect from arrival to departure, starting with professional valet. We were in the older section, and the rooms were excellent. I felt like a king.

Thank you,

"Best vacation ever"
May 2018
This was the perfect vacation. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the reservations and plans were simple to make. The hotel is nice and close to Disney parks and the shuttle service is convenient. We will definitely be coming back!

Tip: The hotel walls are thin so you may hear your neighbors. Even though we were going to sleep early due to long days at the parks, it didn’t bother us too much. Just be conscious of your tv volume at night

Customer service was excellent, but the hotel itself.. It wasn't the nicest. I would have expected more from a Disney hotel. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

"Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs"
July 2016
our stay @ this resort was great however was not what we thought of being close to Sea World and for that we couldn't utilize any of the great things it offered upon arrival and paying $97 more on top of our cost for the stay because the trams only went to Disney Springs and Disney Theme Parks. So for the Cost of the whole stay and the cost of travels back and forth we would not be interested in future stays here.

"Orlando <3"
June 2016
I used 'Reserve Orlando' for our trip. Those people were very accommodating as I had bumped up our free hotel to a nicer situation. We were so glad we did with WG.
I brought my son and my mother.
I was nervous not having a tower room that we would lack in cleanliness, comfort, and quietness. We didn't lack for anything at all. We chose not to have housekeeping for the week we stayed and they politely left out rooms alone and offered us replacement towels when we intercepted the cleaning cart in the morning and whatever else within reason we desired. We were off-site for all of our meals mostly but we did have delivered pizza one late night from their own offered account; you can find the Dominoes stand downstairs. Simple! Cheap!
We were in the large pool a few times and I advise you to shower immediately after as my son developed a leg rash when being in the pool too long. The bar at the pool is lovely treat and the French fries are a yummy snack.
When we return we will use this same vaca plan again. Windham Gardens is a great alternative and though not extremely posh, (depending on your situation) it's very clean and the people are wonderful. It was a for for us.
Note: upon returning from Animal Disney park late at night, you will have to take a left and walk to the bus. It usually is parked a few rows in, in front of the white tent. Difficult as the staff we talked with at WG do not know how to describe this. But not unresolvable.
You will enjoy your stay, don't be too picky and rigid, enjoy the quirks (there are very few), then you'll be amazed at all you get for your money.
Yes, you're spending a bunch in this whole experience, but the memories are worth it.

Thank You Sandy (in reservations) for an amazing vacation with my family. The view was awesome, we seen fireworks every night and the kids was super soaked. We were so close that we walked to Disney Springs every night for activities, fun and food. The hotel was perfect, no complaints. I also want to thank the front desk for helping us take our 5 year old to the hospital, he is doing alot better now and we are back in Indiana. I highly recommend this hotel, close to everything, transportation to all the parks. They also offer breakfast with the characters every other morning (so worth it, the food was awesome) They also have a full breakfast (for a charge) a very nice bar, and a place to purchase food for that midnight snack. We will see you again next year Thanks for a wonderful time

I live in Florida and not more then 2 hrs. from Disney. Staying with the Wyndham was such a extra special experience. Clean simple enjoyable and easy with all amenities. Close to all theme parks along with a variety of shopping places from inexpensive to all out, with simple souvenirs to one of a kind pieces to remember by. There are family restaurants to 5 star dining within 5 mile radius. Security is Not an issue felt safe even late night walks. If you have a car, parking can be a bit of expense. Just park in hotel lot and take there buses to parks and other entertainment activities. They are supplied via Wyndham and are easy to access.

Good Value Hotel. However, the bathroom is very small. If there are more than 2 people its not enough room. The hotel room itself is too dark. They need to put better lighting in the room. It was a great location. Very close to Disney Springs.

"Don't count on the shuttle service access to parks"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed July 14, 2019 NEW
One reason we chose this hotel was the advertised shuttle service to the park. However, there were a number of issues with the shuttle and I was very disappointed in their service, particularly some (although not all) of the shuttle drivers. In the first place, as shuttles only run every 30 mins or so, missing one represents a set-back and loss of very expensive time in the parks (particularly when it means waiting outside in >95 degree temperatures); the first time we waited for a shuttle from the hotel, we learned that different busses go to different parks, and not all busses are clearly labeled; for example, we were headed to Animal Kingdom and didn’t realize that the bus labeled Epcot also went to the Animal Kingdom Park. The majority of drivers make NO attempt to announce their destinations, and if it hadn’t been for another guest who happened to know that the Epcot bus was also headed to Animal Kingdom, we would have stood there like idiots while our bus drove away, along with 15 or so other guests heading to the same park (adding another 30minutes to our wait, and costing us 30 mins in the park). On another occasion, we returned to the pick up location at Disney’s Magic Kingdom at a few minutes past the pickup time (due to a monorail maintenance issue which delayed the train). The bus was still waiting so we ran to catch it, but when we were no more than 6 feet from the door of the bus, the driver closed the door and began backing out of the space. I waved to get his attention, but he just smirked at me and shook his head, leaving us standing in 96 degree sun with no shade available. This kind of rudeness and lack of consideration is remarkably poor customer service, given the costs of staying near and visiting Disney. On the other hand, if your prime reason for picking the hotel is access to the nearby 'Disney Springs' area (outdoor shopping mall with some good shopping and dining options), than this hotel is ideal; only a 10 minute easy walk to get there. However, if the theme parks are your focus, I'd choose a hotel closer or attached to the actual parks.

The Acid Test. YES I would go again but to be honest I think for just a few more $$ you will get a much better hotel. The Pro The Location. Walkable into Disney Springs via the bridge. More reasonable against some of the other accommodation options (see cons though) The meh... Hugely variable accommodation standards. A lot of the pictures show wonderfully refurbished hotel rooms but many more are just average and out dated motel room equivalents. Very large and confusing layout. Very expensive internal convenience store - $3.50 for a single bottle of water! Room service clearly under resourced, our room not made up until 4.30 when we were back and it was inconvenient. Resort Fee!!! $20 per night. Parking Fee!!! $20 per night Staff milling around reception clearly trying to sell Disney Perks and commission related items. The Con Some low rates around but the additional Parking / Resort fee push this rather tired hotel into the boundaries of many others that are more up to date. Best for One / max two night stays if close to Disney Springs is on your must have list.
