Description

from Ripley's Believe It or Not! Orlando Odditorium
The Orlando Odditorium appears to be sinking into one of Florida's infamous sinkholes. For over 40 years Robert Ripley, the modern Marco Polo and the real-life Indiana Jones, traveled the world collecting the unbelievable, the inexplicable and the one-of-a-kind. All of it is amazing and much of it extremely amusing. His collection is housed in over 27 museums in 10 countries. Each museum's collection is 90% unique and different. As Ripley's ghost says ..."Come in... look around... and see if you Believe It or Not!"

"Ripley's"

Nice to re-visit after 23 years when we took our 8 year old daughter. Today, we took our 7 year old grand-daughter. Being born and raised in Orlando since 1959, I know all the parks, like the back of my hand. Of course, the prices too. If you are curious, and like the odd and bizarre things this world has produced, Ripley's is for you. Just as 23 years have passed, my grand-daughter, also was anxious to see the next oddity. For the price in Orlando parks, personally, the best value. REAL odd things our world has produced. Interesting...and leaves you flabbergasted. No thrill rides. Just the thrill and amazement of things that are.....and what will boggle your mind. Nick Smith

"A Great Way to Spend a Few Hours!"
April 2018
My grandson (7-years-old) loves to look through Ripley's Believe It Or Not books. What better way to spend a few hours with him in Orlando, FL? He especially loved the hand-on things - trying to grab the gem was his favorite!!

Tip: All of the stuff is in the books, but it is fun to see it in person. A great way to spend some down-time.

So hard to please a 12 year old and he really enjoyed the visit! His mother and grandmother had a great time also. We were silly at times and yet we really looked at everything. It was especially fun to see a statue of Robert Wadlow, the tallest man, since he is from my home town.

So this place has a few interesting things to see, but it is mostly underwhelming. It's kind if like a walk through, where you see different things in different sections. The tongue challenge 'surprise' was the highlight. But for $46 odd for 2 for what, 25 minutes walk through is too much. It's worth one visit, and worth about $15pp

Your supervisor Leanne and wax tech. Sharita were so pleasant and accommodating, they were willing to try a new pose even though they knew it would be difficult to make! My son is on the autism spectrum (which can make things like this hard) and they were so nice even when we had to start all over! Sharita took her time and helped to make a beautiful gift for my mother, this will leave us with such wonderful memories. Please pass along this comment so they can be recognized for their hard work and dedication!!!

The place was so closed to my hotel. I liked the design of the building and I thought that I will see something different inside. but I spent around 30 minutes. nothing attracted me there. only some poor games and photos that you can see in any website.

I first went to a Ripley's in Gatlinburg when I was a kid. Now that I'm in my 50's, I was afraid it was going to be cheesy, but I ended up enjoying myself! I liked how the exhibits and displays were laid out with similar items grouped together. You can spend as much or as little time as you like trying out the various puzzles and brain teasers, taking pictures of artifacts, or getting selfies with the world's tallest man.
